[Summer.]

[The highlight of almost everyone’s year.]

[Summer.]

[The one season everyone can agree is the best.]

[For years, the Classic Wrestling Federation has provided the highlight of summer for the entire wrestling industry – Summer Smash. Argued by many as being the number one pay-per-view of the year, bigger even than the epic Super Card, Summer Smash has witnessed some of the most historic battles in CWF history.]

[Triple X versus Dean Warren.]

[Shadow Maxx’s glorious victory, capturing the CWF World Heavyweight title at the first ever Summer Smash.]

[T-Money vs Sammy Salerno.]

[“Beautiful” Bobby Crane vs Tasty Tanya.]

[And tonight, many more classics will be indelibly etched into the memories of everyone watching.]

[Ladies and gentlemen, the wait is finally over.]

[The Classic Wrestling Federation proudly presents…]

[For nearly two months, the AllTel Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida has been sold out. 78, 000+ fans are in attendance – the largest crowd in the history of the CWF. The beautiful outdoor facility provides an ambience unmatched for this event. A warm breeze drifts through the arena as the sun beams down. The crowd is buzzing, almost deafening given the sheer number of people. Beach balls are bounced around in the stands, and hundreds of streamers float through the air. Set up in the very center of the stadium is the ring area – which looks very small when captured from an overhead shot in the colossal stadium. The canvas is light blue, with “Summer Smash” written in the center in yellow. Each turnbuckle is black with “CWF” in red, reminding every combatant who is driven into them exactly where they are. The ropes, too, are black, and the ring apron reads “CWF Summer Smash 2005” with yellow lettering on a dark red background. The mats surrounding the ring are black, and separating the front row from the ring area is a makeshift river, which circle the entire ring area but stops at the aisle, giving the wrestlers a means of entering the ring. Set up at ringside is the commentators booth, headed by Teddy Turnbuckle and, as always, “Beautiful” Bobby Crane. Teddy Turnbuckle is clad in a white dress shirt, red tie, and a Summer Smash jacket. Bobby Crane, of course, can’t be bothered to dress for the occasion, and wears his trademark red robe with silver and gold sparkles.]

[This is Summer Smash. This is the atmosphere millions of fans look forward to every year. And this year, the CWF will not disappoint.]

[A dazzling pyrotechnics display explodes overhead, and from that display, two missile-like fireworks shoot towards the entrance stage, and upon impact, the Summer Smash set explodes into a blinding light of fireworks. Yellow and red explosions sends the crowd into a frenzy, and the trademark Summer Smash theme song plays throughout the arena.]

[We cut to the commentator booth, where Teddy Turnbuckle and “Beautiful” Bobby Crane are standing by, ready to kick off the hottest pay-per-view of the summer.]

TT: Welcome everyone to a jam packed AllTel Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida! Welcome to the hottest and most anticipated pay-per-view this summer! Yes, welcome finally, to this historic event, the CWF’s Summer Smash 2005! I’m Teddy Turnbuckle alongside my broadcast colleague, “Beautiful” Bobby Crane…and Bobby, what a night this is going to be!

BC: {shouting} What?! I can barely hear you! These idiots won’t shut up! I’ve never seen so many stupid people gathered in one place!

TT: 78,000 plus screaming CWF fans, a CWF attendance record! If there was any doubt that the CWF would be a success, this erases it right here!

BC: Well I for one can’t wait! Paul Blair is going to beat the snot out of Mark Xamin, and I can’t wait to see who his corner man is going to be! Rumours are flying everywhere, Teddy!

TT: Mark Xamin will meet Paul Blair inside a massive steel structure, a Hell in a Cell! Maniac will be in Mark Xamin’s corner, but Paul Blair has promised the man that will be in his corner will blow us all away…names have been floating around, Bobby…everyone from Z-Pac to Jimmy Blast, but later tonight the speculation will be over, and we’ll find out once and for all!

BC: Not only that, Teddy! But after Blair wins, he’ll be inducted into the CWF Hall of Fame! Ha!

TT: Well he’ll have his work cut out for him, he’s competing in a number one contender’s match against “The Dark Horse” Mike Sloan just before squaring off against Mark Xamin! You have to wonder how much energy Blair will have left after a war with Mike Sloan, a man who over the weeks has proven himself to be one of the toughest men I’ve ever seen…

BC: By the end of the night, Blair will be the #1 contender CWF Hall of Famer, and that is definitely fair to Blair!

TT: Well be that as it may, tonight we will crown a brand new CWF World Heavyweight Champion, as Team Danger, Eric Dane and Tyrone Walker, go one on one, and if you’ve been following the relationship of these two recently…well, needless to say the title has driven a wedge between them and it’s on the rocks…

BC: The Team Danger website reported earlier in the week that Team Danger has in fact…split up! Can you believe that, Teddy?! They split up! The most destructive force in wrestling has been destroyed by the CWF World Heavyweight championship! And you have got to believe that tonight, this is about more than the title…this is about proving who the best member of Team Danger is! I can’t wait…

TT: And that just goes to show you exactly what this title means, Bobby…alliances have been forged and broken, all in the pursuit of that title over the years, but perhaps none can rival the closeness of Team Danger…they were together for over five years!

BC: And let’s not forget about the legendary “Golden One” Jeff Jericho returning to the ring tonight!

TT: Absolutely, what an interesting match that’s going to be, Jeff Jericho goes one on one with Lu Yen, and this rivalry goes back years!

BC: And as much hatred as these two have for each other, Lu Yen has been talking all week about what an honour this is going to be to climb into the ring with greatness…

TT: Well you’ve got to wonder if Jericho’s GPW, his promotion designed to kill the CWF, will make any kind of impact here tonight.

BC: I’d bet my house on it, Teddy!

TT: Well on top of all that, fans…the number one contender to the National title will be decided in an explosive gauntlet match!

BC: And the National title match itself, Jimmy Sartyr taking on Erik Olson, and man oh man, this one is personal. These two absolutely despise each other!

TT: Ricky Chambers also takes on Onyx tonight to determine the number one contender to the Mid-Atlantic title, but who will be the Mid-Atlantic champion by the end of the night? Dan Lynch, the current champion, or his challenger, the rookie sensation, Chiron Cross?

BC: It’s all about the sex, love, and money, baby! Dan Lynch has this one in the bag! Think of the motivation! Performing in front of all this beach trash! Ha!

TT: For God’s sake, Bobby…show a little respect! We’re about ready to get underway here…but just a second, we have a disruption in the back…let’s get a camera back there!

A Tactful Attack

[We cut to the backstage area, where CWF newcomer Black’s manager Gabriel is fixing herself a cup of coffee. As she turns around, she bumps into Larry Tact, who is staring down at her. She yelps in surprise, spilling hot coffee all over herself. Looking down at herself in horror, she starts to berate Tact for scaring her. He smiles and a twisted look crosses his face. Gabriel immediately stops yelling at him and begins to look uncomfortable.]

TT: I don’t like the looks of this, Bobby…

BC: These are mind games by Larry Tact! What a tactful thing to do, throw Black off his game, ha!

[Suddenly, Tact reaches out and grabs Gabriel by the throat. She flails her arms about, trying desperately to get someone’s attention; but it’s no use – Tact shoves her hard into the snack table, scalding hot coffee splashing all over her. She screams in pain and Tact grins and reaches down to pull her up and do more damage.]

TT: For God’s sake, enough is enough! She’s defenceless, damnit!

BC: Come on, Larry! Teach her a lesson!

[Tact pulls her between his legs for a powerbomb, but out from nowhere, Black enters the scene and pounds on Tact from behind, freeing Gabriel from the clutches of a powerbomb. Black throws him onto the floor and begins pounding on his head. Security rushes in to pull them apart…]

TT: My God this is mayhem!

[Suddenly, Larry Tact, pulls a steel chain out of his tights and wraps it around his fist. Leaping over security, he jumps onto Black and begins to pound on his forehead with the steel chain, busting him wide open. As Black lies on the ground covered in blood, Tact walks over to Gabriel and chokes her with the chain. Black gets up to try and save her, but Tact puts his hands on her hand and threatens to snap her neck, stopping Black dead in his tracks. He looks at Gabriel and puts his mouth close to her ear.]

LARRY TACT: I warned you not to use the human mouthpiece to spit all your shit out on me. And your lack of listening will cost him. You'll get your lesson soon enough.

[Tact shoves her away as security pulls them apart. We cut back to ringside.]

TT: That was sickening!

BC: Larry Tact sent a strong message to Black and Gabriel, and they could very well meet in the ring momentarily in this gauntlet match!

TT: That would be explosive!

BC: Wait a minute here, Teddy…I’ve just been informed…that Jeff Jericho has entered the building!

TT: {sarcasm} How glorious. Wait a minute…are you kidding me? We have a camera on this?

The Golden One Arrives . . .

[The camera pans outside the arena to show a long gold limousine pulling up to the arena with the license plate with initials GPW #1 on it. The driver dressed in a silk tuxedo gets out and walks to the back passenger door. He opens the door to reveal the one, the only "Golden One" Jeff Jericho. Jeff is also decked out in a tuxedo and has a large grin on his face. He starts his walk inside the arena while his driver arrives with his bag. The 22-time World champion and CWF Commissioner makes the walk to his dressing room. The camera man asks a question to Jeff.]

CWF CAMERA MAN: Mr. Jericho, your thought's on tonight.

[Jeff stops suddenly and looks the man up and down. He laughs and then begins to speak.]

“GOLDEN ONE” JEFF JERICHO: Tonight my dear boy, a war of epic proportions begins, tonight GPW is born. Ha Ha Ha! Tonight is history in the making. Trust me!

[Jericho continues to walk towards the arena as the camera fades to the announce booth.]

TT: Jeff Jericho is oozing with confidence, even though later tonight the odds will be stacked against him when he faces Lu Yen with Maniac as the special guest referee.

BC: Jeff Jericho is the God of Professional Wrestling…hell, he may even be God himself. He can defy the odds tonight, I promise.

TT: For God’s sake, don't tell me you are on that again! Jeff Jericho is not God. He truly needs mental help.

BC: I wouldn't say that to loud if I were you, Mr. CWF might come out here and shut your mouth if you know what I mean.

TT: Yes, that wouldn't surprise me, I'm not a puppet like you after all.

BC: How dare you, I'm a fan of Jeff Jericho's and I think the guy is great. And so what if I support his GPW solution.

TT: Jeff Jericho's GPW, pffffft, is going to debut here tonight? I don't think Jericho had the guts to go through with what he has been saying. Destroy the CWF? Jericho loves the CWF, he would never do anything to harm it.

BC: You are such a company man, Teddy! You are just like all the rest. Mark Xamin is a cancer to the CWF, Jeff Jericho would rather see the CWF dead than in his greasy hands, that is what GPW is all about...protecting the CWF.

TT: I don't know how you protect something by killing it, but that’s just me. Let’s get to the ring for our first match. This is a gauntlet match to determine the number one contender for the CWF National title, and you can bet your bottom dollar, this one is gonna be good!

GAUNTLET MATCH

Participants: Larry Tact, "The River Dragon" Chris Reinhardt, Matthew Logan, SwitchBlade, Chemical X, Black, Blood, Angus.

TT: We're getting word backstage that the numbers are being drawn for tonight's gauntlet!

BC: Well get a camera back there for cryin' out loud!

[We cut to backstage, where all of the competitors for the gauntlet are sizing each other up, holding their breath for their number to be drawn by Co-Prez Zeb Rogers.]

ZR: Settle down, boys. Here comes our lucky number one...[reaches into a white bucket] Our first man in the ring is none other than Larry Tact!

Tact: Wouldn't have it any other way. Don't get your feelings hurt, gentlemen.

[Tact takes his number and sits back down.]

ZR: Tonight's number two competitor is...OG! You got a challenge on your hands tonight.

OG: Just put me in that ring...

[Takes his number and stands off to the side.]

ZR: Our third man, Switchblade! Don't fall on your own knife, son.

SB: Not a chance...

ZR: Coming in at number four is...Blood! No lead pipes for you tonight, tiger.

Blood: No salvation for your or your family either...

ZR: Don't even cross that line, kid. Number five! We have one Mike Sloan!

[He takes his number and sits down.]

ZR: Number six...a little over half way. And it goes to “The River Dragon” Chris Reinhardt!

[Reinhardt stumbles and staggers over to the Prez and takes his number.]

Reinhardt: Thanksh...you're a good bosh...

[Reinhardt pats him on the shoulder and goes to walk away, but then starts holding his gut. He turns back to the bucket Rogers is holding and pukes in it.]

ZR: DISGUSTING!!!

[Everyone shakes their heads and looks the other way. A page comes and reluctantly takes the bucket off Zeb's hands.]

ZR: Well then, since we obviously thre guys left to draw numbers, we are going to flip a coin for the remaining spots. Guys, call your side.

CX: Heads, baby.

Black: Tails.

Angus: Heads.

[Zeb tosses the coin, and catches it in his right hand. He slaps it on the back of his left and reveals it to be...]

ZR: Heads it is! Black, you are tonight's lucky seven. One more toss decides the number nine spot. One more time.

Black: Heads.

CX: Tails.

ZR: [The coin comes through the routine once more.] Tails! Chemical X is our number nine! Congratulations to both of you on your late entries. Rip it up guys!!!

TT: I don't think I could have said it better myself. Here we go fans! We're about to see our first two competitors collide in tonight's Gauntlet Match! What a fight!

BC: No ham-and-egger matches tonight, inferiors! Let's go to the announcer for our prime wannabes...er potential winners!

[Camera cuts to the ring, announcer ready.]

Announcer: Tonight's Gauntlet Series match is scheduled for eight elimination falls! Introducing our first competitors...

[CUEUP: 'Karma Slave' by Splashdown. Green and blue spotlights shine onto the crowd, forming the word “TACT” as Larry Tact walks out onto the entryway, looking around and observing the crowd. He wears thigh length blue trunks with a jagged black stripe down each side, and black boots with blue laces.]

[Tact focuses on the ring, steadily walking towards it as the spotlights strobe around it. He does a couple of stretches at ringside before climbing onto the apron and entering the ring.]

Announcer: Introducing first, hailing from Manhattan, NY. Weighing in at 252 lbs...LAAAARRRRYYYYYYY TAAAAAAAAACT!!!!

[Tact makes his way into the ring and flaunts himself to the crowd before completely dismissing them.]

TT: What a horrible number for Tact, but it couldn't have happened to a better person if you don't count Jericho or Blood!

BC: You got that right...for once! Don't strain yourself there, Teddy.

[“Lil Flip” by Game Over thumps over the people. Blinging pyro lights up the stage as The Original OG struts out thug style.]

Announcer: Now making his way to the ring, hailing from Queens, NY. Weighing in at 260 lbs....The Original...OG!!!

[OG wears a plain white t-shirt, red pants, and red and white G-Units. He plays on the crowd for a bit until he is struck by Tact.]

TT: And they're off. The bell has rung and here we go!

[Tact and OG lock up, with Tact slapping on a headlock and slamming OG in the jewels. OG is doubled over and Tact hits him with a Stunner. OG is down on the mat and takes a beating courtesy of Tact's right foot. Larry Tact wraps his opponent in the Sky Lock. OG isn't giving in, and but Tact isn't giving up. He applies more pressure and drops OG down on the mat with force. Tact gets back on his feet and picks OG off the mat. He applies an abdominal stretch for a few seconds, then heaves OG into a side slam. He rolls OG over for the pin.]

BC: Go back to playschool, OG!

TT: Shut up, Bobby! Here comes our third fighter!

[“King of Terrors” by Symphony X rockets into the arena as Switchblade explodes from the back and hits the ring.]

BC: Run, Forrest! Run! Don't let him throw any rocks at you!

[Switchblade hammers on the rights and the lefts, Tact staggering backwards some. Switchblade locks Tact up with an armbar takedown. Tact rolls out of it and kicks Switchblade in the head. Tact kicks up off the mat to meet another lockup with Switchblade. Larry simply shoves Switchblade to the ground like some punk. Tact picks him off the mat and hits The Humbling. Switchblade is put in the Tactful Surrender. Switch doesn't last long as he taps out to the ref.]

TT: Another win for Tact! He's steamrolling these young pups!

BC: Anyone could have squeezed the juice outta those two! Hey Switch, ever heard of working!?

[“When All Is Said And Done" by Trapt erupts in the arena as the lights go out. A red tint flows through the arena, but Blood doesn't show.]

TT: Fans, we're not sure what's going on here right now. We're waiting to hear from the backstage area on the whereabouts of our resident evil!

BC: Oh for the love of donuts, let him stay gone! If this is one of his stupid sacrificial deals I will quit this business for good!

TT: I've received word that the next contestant is on his way down!

[“Stockholm Syndrome” by Muse rocks into the stadium. The lights darken some, and out walks Matthew Logan, looking darkly at Tact, who has just had a small chance to catch his breath. Logan gets to the ring.]

Announcer: Hailing from Atlantic City, NJ. Weighing in at 220 lbs. MATTHEWWWWW LOGAAAAAAN!!!

[Logan hits Tact with a boot to the face and goes after his knees with hard kicks. Logan rocks Tact's right knee with a missle drop kick and goes down. Logan runs and steps on his knee and delivers that last leg of a Shining Wizard and Tact's head snaps backwards. Logan drags him to the center of the ring and goes for the pin.]

kickout!!!

[Logan picks Tact off the mat, boots him in the gut and sets up for The Groove Thang. As he tries to heave Tact off the mat, Larry delivers a low blow and Logan goes down to the mat. Tact picks Logan off the mat and heaves him up onto his shoulders for a big side slam. Logan slumps to the mat, but fights the pain and leaps up to bite Tact in the face. The ref separates the two as Tact pulls up with the ropes. The two come back to lock up, Larry with an armbar takedown into a submission. Logan is fighting the pain fiercely but reaches the ropes. The ref breaks the hold. Logan comes to his feet and delivers a shoulder tackle at Larry's knees. Tact is now hurting, and Logan capitalizes with a half boston crab. But Larry powers out of it! Logan goes to the mat. Tact picks him off and Irish Whips him to the ropes, attempting a clothesline but missing, Logan coming back with the Street Gang Kick! Larry stumbles forward out of the ring. Logan goes to the top turnbuckle and takes a 450 splash to Larry Tact! Tact is favoring his ribs quite heavily now, and Logan goes to the apron for a diving elbow. It connects, and Logan picks Tact off and throws him into the ring. Tact is miraculously getting to his feet and chops Logan hard across the chest. Tact is choking Logan against the ropes now, and hits him with several knees to the ribs. Larry tries to lift Logan up by his neck but his ribs are on fire. Instead he executes a headlock takedown and mounts on some punches to Logan. Tact now goes the for the top rope and executes to Dive to Blue! Logan is in pain now, and Tact puts on the Sky Lock! Logan is writhing in pain. The ref asks for a tap and gets it. Tact keeps the hold on for a moment longer and then lets him go. Tact stays down on the mat.]

BC: Alright! Finally we get some decent action! No more retard matches!

TT: Must you insult everyone you see?

BC: Only the ones that have names!

TT: Truly...truly hopeless. Alright then, now we go to our next opponent for the evening! “The River Dragon” Chris Reinhardt.

[“Born” by Nevermore chugs over the PA. Green pyro lights up the stage in the form of a dragon. But Chris Reinhardt does not walk out.]

BC: Okay, this is getting really, really sickening!

TT: Agreed, Bobby! And now we are going backstage once again...

[Security is knocking on the door of Reinhardt's dressing room. All of the sudden we hear singing. Security unclocks the door and opens it to see Reinhardt on the floor, fully in the bag and almost passed out with an empty bottle of Morgan on the floor and a half empty one in his hand.]

Reinhardt: A-lo-ha, oy! A-lo-ha, oy! Can't...rememfer the...shtinkin' wordsh...

TT: (Voice over) This...this is unreal.

BC: (Voice over) You said it...the guy can't even move!

[Security officials call for a stretcher to get him out of the arena. We cut back to Teddy and Bobby.]

TT: I've seen some things in my life Bobby, but that was simply awful.

BC: Why do you say that, Teddy? There's lots of guys out there who can't hold their liquor!

TT: For goodness sake, Bobby! Have some tact! Speaking of, he's getting quite a breather, he's against the turnbuckle now and waiting for his next opponent, who happens to be making his entrance as we speak!

[“Darkside” strains through the arena. The lights darken, and a purple light blasts out of the entry. Gabriel walks out first, halfway down the ramp, and beckons to the entry. It is then that Black walks out to the stage and raises his hands to the sky. He drops them quickly to his sides as purple pyro shoots off into the air. He makes his way down and steps into the ring. Gabriel takes his place at ringside.]

TT: Tact is going to need a miracle against this guy. Look at the size of him!

BC: No kidding, old man! This is gonna be a squash, here and now!

TT: I don't know, Bobby! Tact has some bad blood brewing against this man after his attack on him earlier tonight! Let's go to the ring!

[Tact launches a full on attack against Black. Right and lefts are thrown from both men but Black is fully charged. He grabs Tact around the throat and drives a hard right straight into his face. Tact stumbles away from him as Black reaches toward him and spins Tact around to face him, hitting a powerful body slam on Larry. Black stoops down to pick Tact off the mat but is met with two boots to the face. Tact rises and begins to pummel Black, raking his face and gouging his eyes. Black spins away from Tact, who rocks Black with a German Suplex. Tact on his feet again and so is Black. Black Irish Whips Tact and bounces off the ropes with a Clothesline From Hell that misses. Tact on the rebound and missile dropkick to Black's chest. Black staggers backwards and Larry comes at his with a running super kick! Over the top rope goes Black. Larry goes up to the top turnbuckle and hits him with the Dive to Blue. Tact is holding his ribs again, but manages to stand up. He picks off Black and slams his head into the apron. Tact throws Black into the ring again, but Black still gets up. Black gives Tact a boot to the face that sends him backwards to the mat. Black picks off Tact and hits him with a Clothesline From Hell. He goes for the pin.]

[Black picks off Tact, who gives Black a low blow and hits The Humbler! Black is down and Tact puts on the Sky Lock yet again! Black is struggling to keep from tapping! Tact has as much pressure on him as he can apply. The ref is asking for a tap but Black doesn't give. Gabriel is on the ropes trying to distract the ref. He climbs into the ring and the ref pushes him away. Tact drops Black out of the lock, furious at Gabriel and goes to attack him on the ring apron. The ref is checking on Black now and his back is turned. Black holds on to the ref. Gabriel whips a fireball at Tact's face! Tact is reeling backwards from the pain. Gabriel jumps off the apron and plays innocent to the ref. Black slowly gets up, picks Tact off the mat and finishes Larry off with Fade To Black. He goes for the cover.]

TT: Here comes Black's opponent!

[“Exploder” by Audio Slave rocks the arena. Abby Grace comes through the entry followed by a focused Angus. He walks to the ring intensely, wearing a tight white t-shirt with 'AnGuS' in silver across the front, and a big silver 'A' surrounded by a tribal barbed wire design, and black tights with black calf-height boots.]

Announcer: Hailing from Cut and Shoot, Texas! Weighing in at 258 lbs. AAAAAAAANNNNNNNNGGGGUUUUSSSSSSSS!!!

[Angus wastes no time in executing the End of All on Gabriel. He is out for the match. Black jumps out of the ring and hits Angus with a flying clothesline. The two men are tussling on the floor wildly but Angus comes out on top. The ref is has counted to eight now, and Angus picks Black off and throws him into the ring. Black is on his feet as Angus gets in the ring. Black grabs Angus around the throat and unleashes a chokeslam. Angus is nearly unfazed, as he gets to his feet and spears Black. Angus picks Black off the mat by the throat and slams him into the turnbuckle, executing the Migraine on Black. Black is down and is made victim of The A.C. Black is hurting now, and Angus picks him off the mat. Black is met with a big Cut & Shoot that sends him to the mat, and finally the End of All finishes him. Angus goes for the pin.]

TT: He certainly deserved to lose after what his manager pulled! Wait, here comes Chemical X!

[Chemical X hits the ring and unleashes seven huge chops to Angus' chest. Angus is reeling, and Chemical X pushes Angus to the turnbuckle. A huge right hand knocks Angus to the ground for a quick moment. Angus charges Chemical X with a karate takedown, locking on an armbar submission to the right arm and elbowing away at X's head. X powers out of the hold then slams a hard left into Angus' skull. Angus releases the hold and Chemical unleashes a series of mounted right hands on the imposing Angus. Angus is dazed, and Chemical picks him off and locks up. Both men struggle for leverage and Angus pulls back with an armdrag takedown. Chemical rolls to his feet. Angus slams Chemical in the gut with a sidekick. DDT from Angus onto Chemical X. Angus locks on a reverse facelock. Chemical powers out again hits Angus with a jawbreaker. Angus on one knee now as Chemical knees him in the face. Angus tries to get up but gets a hard kick to the chest that sends him tumbling backwards. Chemical picks off Angus and Irish Whips him. Angus reverses and throws Chemical X to the turnbuckle. Angus attempts the Migraine but is kneed in the chest on the second shoulder thrust. Chemical walks away from the turnbuckle, grabbing Angus by the neck and throwing him over the top rope. Chemical steps out of the ring to grab Angus by the neck once more, but gets three elbows slammed into the gut followed by several karate chops to the back of the neck. Angus moves around behind Chemical X and hits him with a Kung Fu strike, sending him into the steel steps. Angus picks him off and throws him back into the ring. Angus takes to the top turnbuckle with a diving elbow drop but Chemical moves out of the way. Chemical is on his feet and takes the street fight to Angus, right and lefts. He fights Angus to the turnbuckle and unleashes the Three Piece! Angus is down on the mat. Chemical X goes for the cover.]

*DING DING DING*

Announcer: Here is your winner, and number one contender for the National Championship, CHEMICAL X!!!

TT: Chemical X pulls off the win. What a match. Larry Tact dominated over half the card, but we have a clean cut winner now folks!

BC: Finally someone knows what they are doing! Hold up...I just got word that they found Blood!

TT: Right there with ya Bobby! Let's get a feed!

[We cut to an area outside the arena, where security officials are working to rescue Blood from a heavily chained dumpster. One of the men is using a blow torch on the chain, while another waits to use heavy steel snips. Blood is pounding furiously on the side of the dumpster.]

TT: Whose work is this? Blood has many enemies, but who would be strong enough to take him out like this! Look at how heavily chained that dumpster is fans!

[Just then a rose lands on the top of the dumpster, thrown from somewhere above. The camera and the officials all look up to see...]

BC: It's Chiron Cross! He totalled Blood! Look at that mask he's wearing, covering his brand new ugly mug!

TT: Have some compassion on the man, Bobby! He's been burned badly! Blood should be jailed for what he did! It looks like they are making good progress getting that dumpster open as Chiron makes his escape. What will happen when these two men collide in the ring!?

A Last Ditch Effort to Rationalize . . .

TT: Wait a minute, we have more going on in the back…

[Scene shows Lu Yen and his manager in their dressing room. Yen is looking at his disfigured face in the mirror when suddenly Jeff Jericho walks into the dressing room unannounced. Lu spins around with his fists clenched ready for a fight. ]

“GOLDEN ONE” JEFF JERICHO: Lu, calm down, there is no need for a fight, we have our chance to grapple later in the show. I am here to talk with you man to God.

TT: Give me a break.

BC: Shut up and let him speak, you dolt.

“GOLDEN ONE” JEFF JERICHO: Two weeks ago I spoke to you and offered you the chance of a lifetime. It is something I have experienced before and it is something that is going to happen again very soon. You of all people know what this transformation is about and quite frankly, it was the best time of your career. So Lu, do you stay with these two pathetic peons, or do you come home right here tonight?

[Lu looks away from Jericho with a serious look on his face.]

LU YEN: Jericho, I've thought about what you said two weeks ago. I've also thought about your offer to fix my disfigured face. I've also thought about the IOA and what it was like being aligned with you during your transformation.

“GOLDEN ONE” JEFF JERICHO: And?

LU YEN: And? I'LL SEE YOU IN THE RING!!!!

“GOLDEN ONE” JEFF JERICHO: You pathetic little piece of trash! You've made the biggest mistake of your puny life. Tonight there is not going to be a match, there is going to be a FUNERAL FOR YOU!!!!

[Jericho leaves the room in a huff as Lu Yen stares intensely at his face in the mirror remembering what Jericho did to him.]

BC: Teddy! He just refused Jeff Jericho! Is he insane!!!!

TT: No, but Jeff Jericho is. Good for Lu Yen! Tonight, I've got a feeling that Jericho is going to wish he just stayed at home, Yen has his game face on.

BC: Yen is going to regret saying no to God!

TT: He isn't God, you moron!

Ricky Chambers vs Onyx

TT: Nonetheless, we’re ready for our next match, so let’s head to the ring and get this one underway!

BC: {cough}Jerichoisgod {cough}

TT: Oh that’s real mature…

Announcer: The following contest is schedule for one fall and it is for the number one contendership to the Mid-Atlantic Championship!

[Welcome To The Ricky Chambers' Show plays throughout the arena as "Your Stories, My Alibies" by Matchbook Romance blasts over the PA. Red and White pyro blast off three times at the entrance area as Chambers steps out to a mixed reaction from the crowd. Ricky pats his chest and kisses his two fingers on each hand. He points them both up in the air and pats his chest once again. He begins to walk down the ramp towards the ring.]

Announcer: Making his way to the ring. Hailing from Calgary, Alberta! He weighs in at two hundred thirty pounds! He is "THE REAL DEAL" RICKY CHAMBERS!

[Ricky begins to jog down the ramp and slides in to the ring. He climbs all four turnbuckles, pats his chest, kisses his two fingers on each hand, points to the sky, and pats his chest again each time. He jumps down from the last turnbuckle and sits down in the corner waiting for his opponent.]

TT: Well, Chambers definately looks ready for this one! If he wins, he'll get a shot at gold here in the CWF!

BC: We'll have to see, Teddy. He's going to have one hell of a battle tonight against Onyx!

[The lights dim and "Motivation" by T.I. blasts in the arena as two spotlights begin to comb the arena. An explosion blasts off on both sides of the entrance area, as the two spotlights focus on Onyx who steps out to the crowd's view. The arena erupts in boos as Onyx taunts the crowd.]

Announcer: And his opponent...

[Onyx walks down the ramp never letting his eyes leave Chamber.]

Announcer: Making his way to the ring, from Brooklyn, New York. Weighing two hundred thirty five pounds, ONYX!

[Onyx slides under the bottom rope, and instantly stares down Ricky Chambers.]

BC: So who's going to win, Teddy?

TT: I don't know. We're just going to have to watch and find out.

BC: I'm going with Onyx on this one.

*DING! DING! DING!*

TT: This match is under way!

[The two men lock up. Onyx pushes Chambers in to the corner, and the ref calls for the break. Onyx delivers a stinging chop to Chambers' chest, and follows with a forearm shot to the side of the head.]

TT: Onyx with a vicious forearm shot in the corner!

[Onyx begins to pull Chambers out of the corner, but Chambers catches him with an inside cradle.]

[Both men quickly get to their feet. Chambers smiles as he signals that he almost beat Onyx. Onyx rushes in towards Chambers, but Chambers grabs him and smashes his face in to the turnbuckle. Chambers grabs Onyx from behind for a german suplex, but Onyx delivers a back elbow.]

BC: That almost was bad for Onyx, but he narrowly escaped!

[Onyx rushes towards Chambers, and is caught with a deep arm drag. Chambers applies pressure to the arm, keeping Onyx grounded. The referee checks on Onyx.]

TT: I don't think that Onyx will give up this one so easy, but Chambers has the right plan here!

BC: He's keeping Onyx grounded, which is forcing Onyx to use more of his energy.

[Onyx gets to his feet, and quickly reverses Chambers' hold in to a reverse hammerlock. Chambers quickly escapes the hold turning around, but is met by a forearm to the face from Onyx. whips Chambers in to the ropes, and catches him with a back body drop on the rebound. Onyx picks Chambers back up and whips him in to the ropes. Onyx attempts another back body drop, but Chambers nails him with a boot to the gut. Chambers nails Onyx with a clothesline.]

BC: Onyx is down after a massive clothesline! Chambers should be going for the pin here!

[Chambers looks at Onyx. He runs to the ropes, and hits him with a Chambersault.]

[Chambers picks Onyx up, and boots him in the gut. He double underhooks Onyx.]

BC: This doesn't look good, Teddy! Possibly Canadian Chaos!

[Onyx quickly escapes the double underhook and trips Chambers. He puts Chambers in a sharpshooter. Chambers screams in pain as he quickly reaches for the ropes.] BC: Sharpshooter! Chambers needs to get to the ropes!

[Chambers drags himself, and finally is able to grab the bottom rope. The ref calls for the break.]

TT: Onyx releases the hold, and is now stomping the hell out of Chambers!

[Onyx picks Chambers back up, and whips him in to the corner. He follows through with a huge splash. Chambers stumbles out of the corner and falls to the ground. Onyx climbs out to the apron, and begins to climb to the top rope.]

TT: Onyx is wasting alot of time here, Bobby. Chambers is starting to get back to his feet!

[Onyx finally makes it to the top rope, as Chambers makes it to his feet. Chambers leaps to the top rope. He jumps from the top rope and dives at Onyx for a hurricanrana.]

TT: Oh my god! Onyx reversed it, Bobby! It has to be over after that move!

TT: Chambers has this match! That's his finisher! It's over!

*DING DING DING*

Announcer: Here is your winner... “THE REAL DEAL” RICKY CHAMBERS!

TT: Chambers did it! He is the new number one contender to the Mid-Atlantic Championship!

BC: I knew he’d win!

TT: Oh please, you picked Onyx to win and you know it!

BC: I don’t know what you’re talking about.

TT: Well lately Chambers has really turned things around after a slow start here in the CWF, and this kid has potential…and now he’s got a chance to win the Mid-Atlantic title!

BC: He’ll never beat Dan Lynch! Sex, Love and Money always prevails! Ha!

TT: Well folks, we just want to take this opportunity to remind you that our next super show will be Fall Fever! That’s right, it will be live on ESPN, a three hour special, on October 2nd, live from the CWF’s home, Toronto, Ontario!

[Cut to a Fall Fever commercial.]

[Cut back to ringside.]

TT: Fall Fever is always a fun event, wouldn’t you agree, Bobby?

BC: Yeah sure, whatever.

TT: Well Ricky Chambers is apparently in Mark Xamin’s office, so if we’ve got a camera back there can we take a look? We do? Ok, let’s find out what’s going on here...

Proving Your Worth . . .

[We cut to Mark Xamin’s backstage office, where Xamin is warming up for his match against Paul Blair, and Maniac is stretching for his stint as guest referee later tonight.]

[In walks Ricky Chambers, fresh off his victory over Onyx. Maniac looks up at him in surprise.]

MANIAC: What do you want?

RICKY CHAMBERS: Did you see that? I beat him! I’m the number one contender for the Mid-Atlantic title! Wooo!

MANIAC: Yeah uh, that’s great, kid. But we kind of have bigger fish to fry tonight, in case you didn’t notice.

RICKY CHAMBERS: {ignoring Maniac} What’d you think, Mr. Xamin? Were you impressed?

[Maniac gets up and stands between Ricky Chambers and Mark Xamin, who isn’t even acknowledging Chambers’ presence.]

MANIAC: “Mr. Xamin” is preparing for a big match against Paul Blair. Can’t you see that? Damn.

[Xamin continues to warm up, punching the air and hopping around on the balls of his feet.]

RICKY CHAMBERS: With all this talk about GPW, I thought maybe you guys would be excited that the Real Deal will be winning the Mid-Atlantic title and keeping it right here in the CWF...

[Xamin stops and walks over to Chambers, despite Maniac’s protests to ignore him.]

MARK XAMIN: Listen kid, I’ve got a lot on my plate right now, in case you hadn’t noticed. You think you’re championship material? Prove it! I don’t think you have it in you to do what it takes...I know you and Dan Lynch go way back...but if he successfully defends his title here tonight, you’ll be up against him at Fall Fever. What’re you gonna do, hug each other in the ring and hope you can still be friends?! No, if you want my respect, you’re gonna have to reach down into Dan Lynch’s chest, rip out his heart and hold it above your head! And as the blood trickles down your arm, and that pulsating heart slowly dies in your hands...that’s when I’ll know that you, Ricky Chambers, have what it takes to be a champion in the CWF. Now leave me alone, I have to get ready.

[Chambers turns around an exits the room, closing the door behind him. As we fade out, Chambers has a grin on his face, as if he has resolved to prove himself to Xamin. Cut back to ringside.]

TT: Well apparently Mark Xamin thinks Ricky Chambers is too soft to be a champion in the CWF...but it looks like Chambers is prepared to prove him wrong...

BC: He better keep his hands off Dan Lynch if he knows what’s good for him!

TT: Speaking of Dan Lynch...he’s set to defend his Mid-Atlantic championship next against Chiron Cross, the rookie sensation! Let’s head to the ring!

[Cut to ringside.]

CWF MID-ATLANTIC CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Dan Lynch (c) vs Chiron Cross

[The lights in the arena flash rapidly as "They All Fall Down" by Grits blasts throughout the arena. The crowd erupts in cheers.]

Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the CWF Mid-Atlantic Championship!

[The lights stabilize as Chiron Cross emerges to the stage. White pyro erupts in to the air as Cross snaps his arms to it's rhythm. He continues by giving the "I Love You" sign. He walks intensely down the ramp.]

Announcer: On the way to the ring, the challenger! Hailing from Trenton, New Jersey! He weighs in at two hundred thirty five pounds, CHIRON CROSS!

[Chiron climbs the steps and on to the apron. He leaps over the top rope and walks to the center of the ring. He removes his black leather trenchcoat and mirrored shades.]

TT: Chiron has been phenomenal since his debut here in the CWF! As a result, he will have his first championship match tonight at Summer Smash!

BC: But his competition is not a pushover! We've already seen Lynch beat the National Champion on Pop. Can he retain his championship against Chiron tonight?!

[The lights suddenly go out as the crowd all rise to their feet. A video package of Dan dancing at a club plays on the CWF-Tron, as "Sex, Love, & Money" by Mos Def hits the arena. The crowd overpowers the music with boos as Dan walks out to the entrance area.]

Announcer: On his way to the ring, from Tampa Bay, Florida! He weighs in at two hundred forty pounds, and is the current CWF Mid-Atlantic Champion, DAN LYNCH!

[Dan poses as a huge pyro blasts off in front of him. After it dies down, Dan continues his walk to the ring as the crowd still greets him with boos. Dan enters the ring, and poses again as a huge blast of pyro erupts from around the ring. He takes his belt off, and hands it to the referee.]

TT: This is going to be a great match, Bobby!

BC: I still have a feeling that Lynch is going to retain his title tonight.

*DING! DING! DING!*

TT: The bell has sounded, and this match is underway!

[Chiron and Lynch lock up. Lynch takes the quick advantage with a knee to the gut. Lynch puts Chiron in a headlock. Chiron struggles to break free from the move, but is unable to. Lynch flips Chiron on to the mat, still holding the headlock on him.]

TT: Lynch has a smart plan here. He's trying to keep Chiron grounded, rendering him unable to keep his normal speed pace for the match.

[The referee checks to make sure that Lynch isn't choking Chiron, as Chiron continues to struggle. Chiron slowly gets to his knees as Lynch applies more pressure. Chiron elbows Lynch in the gut, and tries pushing him off.]

BC: Lynch isn't letting go! Ha!

[Chiron lifts Lynch up, and hits him with a back body drop. Lynch gets back to his feet, as Chiron slowly gets up. Lynch runs towards Chiron for a clothesline and is caught with a drop toe hold. Chiron applies a version of the STF, and the referee asks Lynch if he wants to continue.]

TT: Chiron has Lynch in an STF now! Lynch needs to find a way out of this move!

BC: He's reaching for the ropes!

[Lynch grabs the bottom rope, and the referee tells Chiron to release the hold. Chiron gets back to his feet, and backs Off from Lynch. Lynch gets up, and the two men stare each other down. They lock up again, and Chiron quickly grabs Lynch with a reverse waist lock. Lynch attempts a back elbow, but Chiron ducks and nails Lynch with a T-Bone suplex.]

TT: Chiron with a T-Bone! This man is amazing!

BC: Chiron lifts Lynch to his feet, and knees him in the gut!

[Chiron bounces off the ropes, and nails Lynch with a Scissors kick. He instantly covers Lynch.]

TT: There's the cover!

BC: Chiron should have known that it wouldn't be that easy!

[Lynch uses the ropes to pull himself up. Chiron darts at Lynch for a clothesline, but Lynch pulls down the top rope, forcing Chiron to fall to the outside. He slides out of the ring after Chiron. He picks Chiron up, and smashes his face in to the barricade. Lynch picks Chiron up, and rams him back first in to the ring apron.]

BC: That is devastating!

TT: What is Lynch planning on here?!

[Lynch rolls Chiron on to the apron. He climbs up with Chiron, and picks him back up. He lifts Chiron in a back body drop position, but sets him so his body is in front of the top rope, and behind the middle rope. He then pulls Chiron down, forcing Chiron to helplessly hang upsidedown.]

TT: This isn't good for Chiron! His legs are trapped!

BC: What a great strategy by Lynch!

[Lynch kicks at Chiron's face, as the referee yells for him to stop. He finally listens as he slides back in to the ring. The referee holds him back, then attempts to help Chiron. Lynch hits the ropes, and baseball slides in to the back of Chiron's head. The referee again holds Lynch back as he tries to help Chiron.]

BC: This is great! Lynch is beating the hell out of Chiron!

[Lynch grabs Chiron's head, pulling it through the ropes. Chiron begins to choke as the bottom rope rests against his throat. Lynch climbs to the top rope, as the referee continues to try to stop him. Lynch dives off the top nailing Chiron with a devestating leg drop. Lynch pulls Chiron out of the ropes. He kicks Chiron in the gut, and lifts him in a powerbomb position.]

TT: This may be the end for Chiron!

[Lynch begins running. As he is about to drop Chiron with the D-Bomb, Chiron flips over him, and rolls him up in a pin.]

TT: Chiron has the pin!

TT: Lynch is back on his feet, and he looks irate!

[Lynch runs at Chiron as he gets to his feet. Chiron grabs Lynch by his arm, and drops him to the mat with an armbar. Chiron quickly hooks on a crossface, and Lynch instantly tries lifting himself up. Lynch gets to his feet, forcing Chiron to switch the hold to a headlock. He push Chiron off towards the ropes, and catches him with a powerslam. Lynch rolls out of the ring, and heads over towards the timekeeper.]

BC: It looks like Lynch is going to try a new game plan!

TT: I don't like where this is going!

[Lynch grabs the chair that the timekeeper is sitting on, and climbs back up to the apron. The referee grabs ahold of the chair, trying to pull it away from Lynch. Chiron slowly gets to his feet, and makes his way over towards Lynch. The referee finally pulls the chair away. Lynch buries his shoulder in to Chiron's gut, and grabs him with a front face lock.]

TT: What is Lynch planning here?!

[Lynch lifts Chiron to a vertical position, and drops him on the announce table with a vertical suplex.]

BC: What carnage! Chiron is laying on our announce table, as Lynch holds his shoulder, smiling!

[Lynch gets back to his feet, and pulls Chiron off of the announce table. He rolls Chiron in to the ring, and quickly makes the cover.]

[Chiron gets to his feet, and Lynch quickly nails him with a forearm to the head. He back Chiron in to the ropes. He attempts to irish whip Chiron, but is reversed. Chiron catches Lynch on the rebound with a spinebuster.]

TT: Lynch is removing that turnbuckle pad! It's not right!

BC: Hey, as long as he can use it to win, Teddy!

[Lynch picks Chiron back up, and lifts him up to his shoulder. He drops Chiron face first on the exposed turnbuckle, and rollshim up. Lynch puts his feet on the middle rope for leverage.]

BC: It looks like Lynch is going for the D-Bomb!

[Lynch begins to run, but Chiron is able to slide out of the move. Chiron boots Lynch in the gut, and grabs him in a pumphandle position. He lifts Lynch up, and drops him with a form of a diamond cutter.]

TT: Blood Lust! Chiron with the Blood Lust!

BC: Do you think he's trying to send a message to the CWF veteran, Teddy?!

[Chiron stumbles as he gets back to his feet, and through the crimson mask which now covers his face, he smirks as he looks at Lynch. He grabs Lynch by the legs, and flips him over.]

TT: Blood Lock! Blood Lock! He has Lynch in the center of the ring!

BC: No! Lynch is reaching for the ropes, but they're nowhere near him!

TT: Chiron cranks back, applying more pressure! Lynch is in serious trouble!

BC: Oh my god!

[Blood suddenly slides in to the ring, and nails Cross in the back of the head with a lead pipe. Chiron falls to the mat as the back of his head begins to bleed.]

TT: The ref is calling for the bell, as Blood has just Cost Cross the Mid-Atlantic Championship!

*DING DING DING*

[Blood stands above Chiron with a smile on his face. Lynch rolls out of the ring and grabs his belt.]

Announcer: The winner of this match as a result of a disqualification, CHIRON CROSS!

BC: Well, Dan Lynch is still the Mid-Atlantic Champion, Teddy.

[Blood slides out of the ring, and climbs over the barricade in to the crowd. Lynch walks up the ramp, still looking towards the ring. He taps his title as if to say that he still has the gold. Lynch quickly falls to the ground after a massive clothesline from Ricky Chambers.]

TT: It's Chambers!

[Chambers stomps at Lynch's head, then grabs the Mid-Atlantic belt. He kneels next to Lynch, and holds up Lynch's chin. He holds the Mid-Atlantic belt in front of Lynch as he screams at him.]

BC: Chambers is ruthless, Teddy! He's definately Mid-Atlantic Championship material! He just proved that once and for all to Mark Xamin, but he should be suspended for attacking a sex, love and money machine like Dan Lynch!

TT: Suspended? Give me a break...

[Chambers lets go of Lynch and stands back up. He holds the Mid-Atlantic belt high in to the air with a smile on his face.]

One Final Warning . . .

[Scene shows Maniac in his referee outfit taping up his hands while Mark Xamin sits at his desk filling out some paper work. Suddenly the door opens to reveal Jeff Jericho in his wrestling gear. He walks in and goes nose to nose with Maniac as Mark Xamin looks on.]

“GOLDEN ONE” JEFF JERICHO: So your path has been cemented now, it would appear. Here you stand before me ready to try and ruin my big night. My first match in over a year, the debut of GPW, the beginning of my transformation into God himself. Maniac, my former friend, my former tag team partner has taken the side of the cancer Mark Xamin. Fine, so be it, you are nothing more than a shell of what used to be a great man, a legend in this business and in this life. Now all that appears before me is a puppet in a simple mans struggle to keep his company.

MANIAC: Is that...

“GOLDEN ONE” JEFF JERICHO: Shut up, don't speak! Maniac, somewhere beneath this shell still lies the man that I once knew and respected as my equal. I have tried to talk that man out of you but to no avail. Now all that is left for me to do to you is what I am about to do to the CWF. DESTROY IT TO PROTECT IT! I will not allow you, or the CWF to be destroyed, raped and sucked dry of their legacies for his own ego. I will end your career, just like I will the CWF to protect your legacies.

MANIAC: What is clear to me at this very moment is that the 22-time World champion, God of Professional Wrestling, Paragon of Greatness Jeff Jericho is dead! All that is left is a sick, twisted, delusional old man on the verge of a complete mental breakdown. My advice to you is not to concern yourself with my career because its better than ever, I suggest you concern yourself with your match tonight and trying not to piss me off. If you get out of line, I'll DQ your ass after I headhunter you through the damn ring, that’s how I roll, little man.

“GOLDEN ONE” JEFF JERICHO: It is sad what you have become but in time, you will thank me for saving you and the CWF, that I promise. As for tonight, I'll lend you some advice as well, there are things bigger than you about to happen, stay out of my way or I'll end you here tonight.

[Mark Xamin shoots up from his desk.]

MARK XAMIN: Oh what, GPW, your company designed to destroy the CWF? Where is it, huh? All I've heard is you talk and talk but no action. Where is this GPW, huh? I don't think you've got anything Jericho, I think GPW is dead before it got off the ground, isn't that right. You haven't got the guts to try and destroy the CWF, like it could happen any way.

[Jericho smiles.]

“GOLDEN ONE” JEFF JERICHO: I said from the start GPW will debut when the timing is right and well, I stand by that except to say that it will debut tonight. Trust me!

[Jericho, with a glazed look in his eye, walks away.]

TT: The GPW is going to debut tonight? I don’t think any good can come from this…

BC: Competition is healthy!

TT: Not when the competition is Jeff Jericho.

“Golden One” Jeff Jericho vs Lu Yen

Anarchy Rules.
Special Referee: Maniac

TT: Well we’re about set for our next match, and it’s a highly anticipated one…

BC: Jeff Jericho, the Golden One, returns to the ring! And he’s up against that sick, twisted, psychotic Japanese man, Lu Yen!

TT: Lu Yen has yet to register a victory here in the CWF since its return, but the motivation that comes with being in the ring with Jeff Jericho may play a huge role here tonight.

BC: Absolutely, Teddy…every team in the NFL steps up their game when they’re playing the Super Bowl champions, and every wrestler steps up his game when he’s in the ring with Jeff Jericho. Many have tried, most have failed, but there’s always that one wildcard surprise…

TT: A Lu Yen victory tonight would no doubt spawn a Jeff Jericho rampage. Jericho and Yen despise each other…they respect each other, but they despise each other, and if Jericho loses tonight, he’ll never be able to live with himself, I can promise you that, folks.

BC: No way, Jericho would go off the deep end for sure.

TT: And this feud goes all the way back to their days in the IOA, where Jeff Jericho damn near destroyed Lu Yen. You can bet Yen has revenge on his mind tonight.

BC: And think of all the things Jericho has done to Yen over the past few weeks…I mean, Lu Yen is wearing a mask because of the damage Jericho did to his face a few weeks ago! And who can forget seeing Yen slap Jericho multiple times on Sunday Night Brawl? And now they’re going to be inside a Hell in a Cell? It’s going to be an absolute bloodbath.

TT: And you can’t forget the special referee…Maniac will call this one, and with his feud with Jeff Jericho becoming more and more heated every week, you have to wonder if he’ll call this one down the middle.

BC: Well, he better…like we said earlier, if Jericho loses tonight, God help us all.

TT: And it looks like we’re about ready to get this started, so let’s head to ringside!

[We cut to the ring.]

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall, and will take place in Hell in a Cell!

[The crowd cheers at this announcement.]

Announcer: Introducing first, the special guest referee! He is the co-commissioner of the Classic Wrestling Federation….MANIAC!

[The crowd erupts as “Turn the Page” by Metallica hits, and stepping out onto the stage in a referee t-shirt and black shorts is Maniac. He nods at the crowd approvingly, and begins making his way down the aisle. The fans scurry to the guardrail to grab a high five. Maniac tries to accommodate them all, but eventually runs out of real estate and finds himself at ringside. He climbs the ring steps and steps through the ropes. He holds his arms up in the air as thousands of camera flashes go off and fireworks explode on the outside of the ring, sending the crowd into a frenzy.]

BC: I’ll never understand this guy’s hype…

TT: What?! The things this man has done for our sport are countless! How can you say that?!

BC: Ah shut up, Teddy…

Announcer: And now, the participants. First, about to make his way down the aisle…from Nagasaki, Japan…weighing in at 232 pounds….LU YEN!

[“Turning Japanese by the Vapors begins to blare throughout the arena. Mr. Klein and his henchmen step through the curtains followed by Lu Yen who wear what appears to be a steel mask. Yen's bald head is covered in what appears to be ashes. As he drops to his knees the pyro explodes and the fans erupt at this strange man. Lu rolls under the ropes and immediately climbs the ropes in the corner. He tilts his head left to right as if trying to understand why the fans are cheering him. Klein stands in the center of the ring pointing his hands towards Yen. Yen hops off the ropes and begins to warm up for the match.]

[Maniac grabs Klein on the shoulder and spins him around. Klein is taken aback and begins to argue, but Maniac points to the referee logo on his chest and orders Klein to leave ringside! Klein and Yen both protest, but Maniac shrugs them off and Klein is forced to leave.]

TT: Well once that cell drops, Klein has no business being out here, so Maniac is sending Klein packing, and I find that somewhat surprising…that clearly works in the favor of Jeff Jericho.

BC: Maybe Maniac is going to call this one down the middle!

Announcer: And his opponent…from Toronto, Ontario….weighing in at 266 pounds…he is the CWF co-commissioner and a CWF Hall of Famer… “THE GOLDEN ONE” JEFF JERICHO!

[“Play the Game” by Motorhead hits, and the fans absolutely erupt into boos, showering Jericho with jeers and garbage as he steps out from behind the set and onto the stage. He wears a golden robe with “Golden One” handwritten across the back in red lettering.]

BC: There he is, Teddy! The one and only!

TT: It’s almost surreal to see him in wrestling attire again after all these years…

[Jericho struts down the aisle confidently – or arrogantly, depending on how you look at it. He slowly circles the ring, familiarizing himself with his surroundings. He looks up at the beams in the sky holding the cell in the air, and it slowly begins to lower – the fans react to this with cheers of anticipation. Jericho calmly steps through the ropes and into the ring, staring down Lu Yen as he removes his robe to reveal red trunks with “GPW” written on the hip in gold lettering.]

TT: Jericho is wearing the colors of his GPW, it seems…and Yen is staring him down from across the ring with a look of excitement on his face. This has got to be the biggest night of his career.

BC: Absolutely, tonight could make or break Yen’s career, if you ask me…

[The cell lowers completely. The door is locked shut, and the bell sounds to signify the beginning of the match.]

*DING DING DING*

TT: And here we go…looks like Maniac is bringing them to the center of the ring to read the riot act…

BC: I don’t get it…there aren’t any rules.

TT: Remember folks, this is anarchy rules…that means it’s hell in a cell with tables, ladders, and chairs! Maniac may well be the only man suitable to officiate this one!

[Jericho and Yen comes to the center of the ring where Maniac explains the rules. They don’t take their eyes off each other until Maniac asks if they understand. Jericho doesn’t respond. Maniac waves his hand in front of Jericho’s face to snap him out of his trance, but Jericho slaps his hand away. Maniac immediately gets in Jericho’s face and berates him until Jericho is backed into the corner of the ring. He ducks between the ropes and begs Maniac off, before finally acknowledging his understanding of the rule. Maniac then asks the same of Yen, who nods.]

TT: Well Maniac wants to establish control over this one right away, and that’s probably the wise thing to do…

BC: I don’t think it’ll matter at the end of the day, Teddy…it’s gonna take more than a guest referee to stop Jeff Jericho.

[Jericho comes out of his corner and he and Yen circle each other in the ring, sizing each other up. They lock up, but no, Yen with a swift kick to Jericho’s thigh, and another, and another. Jericho backs up, favoring his leg as Yen awaits another lockup. Jericho cautiously moves back in towards Yen and goes to lock up. Yen again kicks him in the thigh, but this time Jericho grabs his foot and drives his forearm into the back of Yen’s knee, and spins around, taking Yen down and putting stress on his knee. Jericho cranks up on his leg, and Yen desperately kicks him with his free foot, breaking Jericho away from him.]

TT: Jericho looks to be targeting Yen’s lower body here, probably in an effort to take away Yen’s speed, which undoubtedly is Yen’s best hope here tonight…

BC: Jericho is a mastermind…take away Yen’s speed and all he’s got left is his sick, twisted love for pain.

[Jericho dives back onto Yen, pounding at him relentlessly. Yen rolls away and slides under the bottom rope and to the outside of the ring. Jericho beckons for him to get back inside, but instead, Yen begins to throw steel chairs into the ring!]

TT: Ohhh you had to know it wouldn’t be a wrestling match for long, here comes the hardware!

BC: This is about to get nasty! C’mon, Jeff! Scramble his brains!

[With several chairs in the ring, Yen hopes up onto the apron and springboards off the top rope, coming at Jericho with a missile dropkick…Jericho tries to counter with a steel chair, but miscalculates his timing and instead gets a chair driven into his face by Yen’s dropkick! Jericho staggers back to the mat, and Yen quickly gets to his feet and attempts to take control of the match. He picks up a chair and smashes it into Jericho’s knee, causing Jericho to scream out in pain. Yen pulls Jericho’s knee pads off, exposing his entire leg…but Jericho catches Yen off guard and catches him with a surprise small package! Maniac makes the cover!]

Kickout!

BC: Hey!

TT: That seemed like a mighty long two count by Maniac, but this match continues nonetheless!

[Yen quickly gets to his feet and drop kicks Jericho in the knees, sending Jericho back to the mat. Yen then grabs a steel chair, but just as he’s about to hit him with it, Jericho pulls Maniac in the way, and Yen pulls back just in time to prevent hitting Maniac. And Yen counts his lucky stars that he didn’t hit the guest referee, Jericho pulls him in and low blows him! Yen slumps to the mat and kicks his feet in pain as Maniac looks down at Jericho, who has a grin on his face. Jericho stands up and grabs a steel chair…he rears back and goes to hit Yen with it, but Maniac grabs it!]

BC: Ahhh!

TT: Maniac just grabbed the chair from Jericho, and Jericho is livid!

[Yen gets to his feet as Maniac and Jericho argue…he spins Jericho around and….smiles at him?]

TT: Wait a minute…what’s this?

BC: It couldn’t be!?

[Jericho and Yen embrace!]

TT: WHAT?!

BC: Hahaha! It was all a hoax, Jericho and Yen must be in cahoots! And look who’s a sitting duck inside that Hell in a Cell, full of tables, ladders and chairs!

TT: Ohh Maniac is in a bad way here…

[Maniac looks on in shock as Jericho raises Yen’s hand, as if in victory. As Maniac raises both arms in confusion, Yen sneaks behind him quietly and low blows him! Jericho looks down at Maniac and shakes his head with a grin on his face. He grabs a steel chair and absolutely unleashes on Maniac’s head, instantly knocking him out. Jericho and Yen laugh at this, and Jericho lies down on the mat. Yen makes a cover and uses Maniac’s limp arm to make the count.]

*DING DING DING*

Announcer: Here is your winner…LU YEN!

TT: This is absolutely disgraceful! What in the hell is the meaning of all this?!

[Jericho and Yen are in near hysterics in the ring. And Maniac comes back to consciousness just in time to see Jericho hand Yen a GPW t-shirt. Yen slips it on proudly as Maniac looks on helplessly from the canvas.]

TT: For crying out loud, this is sickening! This was a highly advertised match, these fans deserve better than this!

BC: What could possibly be better than seeing a perfectly executed plan come to fruition, Teddy?! This was the work of an evil genius! Ha!

TT: And wait a damn minute, what is this?!

[Yen pulls his mask off to reveal an unscarred, perfectly acceptable human face, quite the opposite of the violent wounds he’s been sporting the past month. He grins widely and the fans shower them both with boos. Blood begins to trickle down Maniac’s forehead, and his equilibrium is too messed up to get back to his feet.]

TT: Can you believe this?! We all fell for it! There was never any bad blood between Jericho and Yen! Yen was never scarred, he never had to wear a mask…it was all a damn set up by Jeff Jericho and his GPW, and Maniac is in a bad way here…and there’s not a damn thing anyone can do about it because that cell prevents anyone from getting in! Damnit!

BC: Jericho covered all his bases!

[Yen leaves the ring and sets up a ladder on the outside, with a table just underneath it. Meanwhile, Jericho is ruthlessly pounding on Maniac, who is unable to defend himself after that brutal chair shot to the head. Jericho takes a steel chair and smashes it into Maniac’s back countless times. Maniac is clearly unconscious, and Yen signals to Jericho that he’s ready. Jericho drags Maniac out of the ring and Yen helps him carry Maniac up the ladder.]

TT: For God’s sake, enough is enough! You’ve made your point, Jericho! Now get the hell out of there! This is a damn mugging!

BC: This is sheer brilliance!

[Jericho sends Maniac flying off the top of the ladder with a powerbomb through the table and onto the concrete floor! The crowd gasps at the impact, and Maniac lies a crumpled, twisted, bloody mess.]

TT: My God! This is inhumane, damnit!

BC: I guess Mark Xamin’s gonna need a new corner man! Ha!

[The cell begins to raise, mercifully, as Jericho and Yen raise their arms to a deafening chorus of boos, and they are showered with garbage as they walk up the aisle, clearly satisfied with the carnage they’re leaving behind.]

[EMTs and CWF officials rush out from the back to come to Maniac’s aid. We cut back to the commentator booth as the mess is cleaned up.]

BC: That was…can I say? Yes, that was “beautiful”…haha!

TT: That was sickening, you idiot! Jeff Jericho promised to destroy Maniac in order to save his legacy, and he may well have succeeded tonight…this is just downright sad. This is low even for Jeff Jericho! I mean this match came with considerable hype…damnit, Jericho…damn you to hell!

CWF NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Jimmy Sartyr (c) vs Erik Olson

BC: Alright, focus, Teddy…focus! There’s a disturbance backstage. You know how I know that?

TT: {sighing} How?

BC: You know that voice in your headset?

TT: …yeah?

BC: Pay attention to it, dumbass.

TT: {blankly} Just get us a damn feed…

[We cut to parking lot where a brawl between two CWF superstars has broken out. Security is heavy, so we can’t make out who they are…but suddenly, the crowd of security splits, and we are able to make out the brawlers…]

TT: Hey! That’s Erik Olson and Jimmy Sartyr! They’re scheduled for the National title match next, but the fight has broken out early!

[Olson and Sartyr are determined to go at it, and security finally gives up and lets them go. Sartyr is already bleeding, suggesting this fight broke out some time ago. Olson throws him into a garage door, and then whips him into a pile of lead pipes and steel beams. Metal clanks against the concrete floor. Olson takes a lead pipe and swings at Sartyr, but Sartyr ducks out of pure instinct and shoves Olson through and emergency exit. The fight spills onto the streets of Jacksonville, Florida, and our camera man can’t follow them any long. They turn a corner and out of view as security rushes after them.]

BC: I told you they hate each other!

TT: Well I’m getting word that this match is now cancelled as a result of this brawl! That is a damn shame, I was looking forward to this one…

BC: So Jimmy Sartyr gets to keep the National title? Cheap!

TT: Well he’s got a title defense next week on Brawl against the new number one contender to that title, Chemical X! Chemical X won the gauntlet match earlier tonight to earn that right…

BC: Another glorious opportunity for GPW! Chemical X is aligned with Blair, so he must be in cahoots with Jericho as well!

NUMBER ONE CONTENDER MATCH
“The Dark Horse” Mike Sloan vs “Ruler” Paul Blair

TT: Well it’s now time to determine our number one contender to the CWF World Heavyweight Championship! The winner of this one has a title shot whenever they want it…

BC: Well Paul Blair is a crafty veteran and I will never bet against him, Teddy. Never! As long as I live! Never! Ever! In a million years! You hear me? Never!

TT: Ok, calm down, we get it already…

BC: But Mike Sloan is one tough s.o.b….this is gonna be a hell of a fight.

[We cut to the ring.]

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, this match is scheduled for one fall!

[“Symphony of Destruction” by Megadeth rocks the arena, accompanied by the words of Mike Sloan.]

#You take a mortal man, #

[His blond hair on top is only a fraction of an inch long. You can see the places where he has been scared from multiple battles in his life.]

#And put him in control #

[His head begins to lift, so slightly that the only thing that is produced in the time is the top of a spike that comes from his eyebrow.]

#Watch him become a god,#

[A scar runs from his forehead lateral to his left ear. It is so slight, because of the time and money that was spent to reduce the size.]

#Watch peoples heads a'roll #

[The first thing that is recognizable, the blue eyes. They hold more emotion than the face itself. They were once caring, but something has taken all that away. They are full of disdain and contempt now.]

#A'roll...#

[The spot lights area towards the entrance ramp. The crowd jumps to its feet to see him again. The chorus hits the pa system and about that time a stray light catches a glimpse of the man we once knew far away from the ring, in the crowd. Standing like a monster, scared of nothing, he makes his movements to the ring.]

#Just like the Pied Piper
Led rats through the streets
We dance like marionettes,
Swaying to the Symphony...
Of Destruction #

[His attire features two ings. He has donned a black Respect is not earned; It's Taken; his second item is a pair of thigh length, spandex shorts. Across the back it states, T D H. Down his left thigh the word that is stated is Scorned;. Disrespected. A black towel covers his head so that no one can know who this is, if the piercing and the eyes didn't tell you who it was then you will have to wait.]

#Acting like a robot, #

[He makes his way to the ring side area, he places one foot on the step and reaches out his hand and grabs the ring post.]

#Its metal brain corrodes. #

[He pauses for the fans and then makes his way up the steps.]

#You try to take its pulse, #

[He walks the outer edge of the ring and places his back against the ropes and waits.]

#Before the head explodes. #

[As soon as this line hits his head launches back and the covering it tossed off. Revealing to the world that this man is Mike Sloan. ]

#Explodes... #

[The chorus hits again as he makes his way into the ring.]

#Just like the Pied Piper
Led rats through the streets
We dance like marionettes,
Swaying to the Symphony...
Of Destruction #

[He leans over and picks up his towel and hangs it on the far right turnbuckle.]

#The earth starts to rumble #

#World powers fall#

[He pulls his torso out of the shirt and tosses it to the floor.]

#A'warring for the heavens, #

[He places his back against the corner and stretches his back over the ropes, popping every vertebrate there.]

#A peaceful man stands tall #

[He stands a man with nothing to lose and everything to gain from this point on.]

Announcer: Introducing first. Hailing from Mobile, Alabama. Weighing in at 245 lbs. The Dark Horse...MIIIIIIIIIKE SLOOOOAAAAANNNNN!!!!!

[Sloan enters the ring, tense and ready to rock and roll.]

TT: This guy doesn't know what's about to happen to him! Blair will have two matches tonight, and this is only the first!

BC: Shoosh! Don't tell him that! Sloan might win then!

Announcer: Introducing second. Hailing from River Falls, Wisconsin. Weighing in at 275 lbs. THE RULER!!! PAAAAUUUULLL BLAAAIIIRRR!!!

[The BlairVision Theme pompously streams into the arena. Preceded by Robin Cradle, Paul Blair steps out onto the stage, with a whole arena booing his presence. He raises his arms shoulder high and smiles nice and big to the crowd, makes like he's going to blow a kiss to the crowd but plants in firmly on his rear end. He laughs hysterically and makes his way into the ring, removing his robe and then...]

TT: BLAIR KICK TO SLOAN! SO SOON!

BC: That kid is in for it, let me tell you! HAH!

[Blair goes for the cover, but Sloan weakly kicks out. Blair picks off Sloan and slaps on a DDT. Blair shows no mercy as he stomps away at Sloan. He picks him off again and Irish Whips him to the ropes and with a back body drop. Blair himself bounces off the ropes and lands an elbow smash onto the face of Sloan. Blair takes Sloan's head and pounds it into the mat. He picks him off but gets a huge Russian Uppercut to his face. Sloan hands Blair a few rights, but is barely able to do any damage from the Blair Kick. Blair laughs at him the otherwise powerful wrestler. Blair spins Sloan around and puts a half-nelson suplex on him. Blair stands Sloan up and hits him with another Blair Kick! He goes for the cover.]

*DING DING DING*

Announcer: Here is your winner. PAAAUUULLL BLAAAAAAAAIRRRR!

TT: Here is your number one contender for the belt, ladies and gentlemen!

BC: Great! Finally someone gets a shot who deserves it more than any of these other peons!

[Blair wastes no time celebrating – he heads swiftly back up the aisle and to the backstage area to catch a breather before his next match begins. Sloan, dejected, leaves the ring and heads backstage as well.]

TT: Blair made quick work of him, it just wasn’t Mike Sloan’s night tonight.

BC: It’s never your night when you’re up against the Ruler! Ha! He has a title shot in his back pocket whenever he wants it!

Mark Xamin (w/ Maniac) vs “Ruler” Paul Blair (w/ ???)

Hell in a Cell

TT: Well this next match is absolutely epic. For the first time that I can remember, at least, the CWF Owner and Founder, Mark Xamin, is going to climb inside a Hell in a Cell with “The Ruler” Paul Blair! Now we know Maniac will be in Mark Xamin’s corner, although we don’t know what kind of condition he’ll be in after that vicious mugging by Jeff Jericho and Lu Yen earlier tonight…and we also don’t know who Paul Blair’s corner man will be, but he has promised that it will blow us all away…

BC: And Paul Blair never disappoints! Mark Xamin had this match coming to him after all those years of being unfair to Blair!

TT: Well that is questionable logic at best, Bobby…Mark Xamin isn’t a wrestler, he’s a business man with a deeply rooted passion for this industry and this company. But when Mark Xamin looks across that ring tonight, he’s not going to see Paul Blair, he’s going to see what Paul Blair represents – Golden Productions Wrestling.

BC: Blair was unveiled as the first member on Wednesday Night Pop last week, and that’s one of the best things about GPW, ha! Because of that decision to join GPW, Blair was rewarded by Jeff Jericho and got himself into the number one contender match tonight, and he’s now first in line after defeating Mike Sloan just moments ago! Definitely fair to Blair!

TT: And Paul Blair has been granted five minutes to catch his breath and regain his bearings after that match with Mike Sloan, but you have got to believe that if Mark Xamin has one advantage tonight, it’s that Paul Blair will be fatigued after having wrestled just minutes ago. And there is so much on the line here, folks. If Paul Blair wins this, he will be inducted into the hallowed halls of the CWF Hall of Fame and join the likes of Jeff Jericho, Steve Dart, Triple X, Z-Pac, and Mark Xamin himself. But if Blair loses…Z-Pac will be removed from the Hall of Fame and his title reigns will be wiped from the history books!

BC: You’re right, there is just so much on the line in this one, but I’m more interested in Paul Blair’s corner man…who could it be?

TT: There has been so much speculation over the past few weeks, you all know the story about Mark Xamin’s off camera feud with Z-Pac. Xamin has gone on record as saying Z-Pac will never, under any circumstances, step inside a CWF arena again. If Z-Pac were to appear here tonight, this place would explode, Bobby.

BC: It won’t be the freak, Teddy, I can guarantee you that! Z-Pac wouldn’t show his face on CWF programming unless he was getting exactly what he wanted, and Xamin is the only man that can give him exactly what he wants…you think he’s gonna do that? I don’t think so.

TT: Other names have be floating around as well…Maniac’s blood nemesis, Jimmy Blast! What a shock that would be…

BC: Well if they dug that old fossil up, this place would go nuts, and Maniac’s jaw would hit the floor…but the name I’ve been hearing is none other than “Studly” Steve Dart!

TT: Ohhh that would be absolutely wild, Steve Dart in a CWF ring, and with the history he has with Mark Xamin and the way Dart founded the RWF, an organization that damn near killed this company, that would be absolutely explosive. I’ve also heard “Nitemare” Rob Osbourne’s name mentioned…

BC: Well are we gonna sit around speculating like a couple of idiots, or can we get this show on the road already?

TT: Well I’m getting word that we are indeed ready to begin, so let’s head to the ring!

BC: Wooo! Finally!

[We cut to the ring.]

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall, and will take place inside Hell in a Cell!

[The crowd cheers the announcement.]

Announcer: Introducing first…being led to the ring by his corner man, MANIAC!...he is the owner and founder of the Classic Wrestling Federation, and he weighs in at 207 pounds….from Toronto, Ontario….MARK XAMIN!

[The crowd erupts as “Verse Chorus Verse” by Nirvana hits, and Mark Xamin steps out from the back in a pair of blue jeans and a black CWF t-shirt. He was a serious look on his face as he stares down the aisle at the monstrosity of a cage he is about to center. Shortly after Xamin, Maniac limps out from the back with his head bandaged from Jeff Jericho and Lu Yen’s attack earlier in the evening. The crowd roars at his tenacity and he leads Xamin down to the ring. Xamin walks the aisle with focus, and just a small hint of reluctance, probably masked by a Maniac pep talk. Maniac holds the ropes for him as he steps into the ring.]

TT: The boss looks like he’s bracing himself for the fight of his life…

BC: Good, because he’s in for just that, ha!

Announcer: And his opponent…

[The fans immediately begin to boo.]

Announcer: From River Falls, Wisconsin….weighing in at 275 pounds… “THE RULER” PAUL BLAIR!

[The boos get remarkably louder as the BlairVision Theme hits, and Paul Blair struts out from the back in a golden GPW t-shirt and golden GPW wrestling tights. It’s as if he wore this attire to remind Mark Xamin what this is all about. He arrogantly walks down the aisle and mocks the fans, climbing the ring steps and stepping through the ropes. Xamin stares at him coldly, and Blair grins as he calls for a mic.]

TT: Well it looks like we’re about to end the speculation right now…who is Blair’s corner man?

PAUL BLAIR: Now you all must be wondering…what trick does the Ruler have up his sleeve tonight? I’ve heard the names, I’ve heard the rumours about who my corner man is tonight. And Lord knows, the Ruler is never one to disappoint. My corner man is indeed a CWF Hall of Famer…

[The crowd roars.]

TT: Well that narrows the list down a bit!

BC: Shhhh shush…

PAUL BLAIR: My corner man is a multiple time CWF World Heavyweight champion. He is without a doubt, one of the best wrestlers to ever lace up his boots. I’m staring across the ring at one Mark…but this man is the biggest “Mark” in the business!

[The crowd erupts!]

TT: It couldn’t be!

PAUL BLAIR: My corner man is the epitome of greatness…TRIPLE X!

[The crowd absolutely explodes and stands on their feet looking towards the entrance ramp.]

BC: WOW!!!

TT: I don’t believe it!! This crowd is going absolutely insane!

[Mark Xamin’s jaw hits the floor as “Don’t Tread On Me” by Metallica hits. After about thirty seconds of edge-of-your-seat anticipation, every fan in the building absolutely marks out as Triple X steps out from behind the set and onto the stage!]

TT: It’s him! Triple X is here at Summer Smash! I can’t believe my eyes!

BC: I told you Blair wouldn’t disappoint! Wow!

[Triple X, clad in black tights with neon green “X”s all over them and “Triple X” etched across the seat, and a sparkling red and silver vest, dances around on the stage and works the crowd, which is absolutely deafening. XXX can’t help but crack a smile at the reaction he’s getting, but quickly directs his attention to the ring, where Mark Xamin is absolutely hysterical and Maniac is trying to calm him down. Triple X walks swiftly to the ring and climbs the steps, dancing on the apron and further igniting the crowd before stepping through the ropes and mockingly blowing a kiss at Mark Xamin.]

TT: I’m in absolute shock! We haven’t heard or seen from Triple X in years and he’s here tonight and looking better than ever!

BC: I told you, Teddy! Never bet against Paul Blair, the man is a genius! Ha!

TT: Has Triple X joined GPW?! My God what a boost it would be for that company if it’s true! Mark Xamin may have a bigger problem on his hands than I thought!

[Maniac finally manages to calm Xamin down, and takes his place in Xamin’s corner. Triple X climbs out of the ring and into Blair’s corner. Paul Blair waves at Mark Xamin, who responds with a middle finger, which gets the crowd going even more. Every single fan is on their feet. The cell begins to lower as the referee reads them both the riot act.]

TT: I’ve gotta tell you, I’m very concerned about Mark Xamin’s well-being in this one…Paul Blair is a world class athlete with a CWF Hall of Famer in his corner, and Mark Xamin is a business man with a battered and bruised Maniac in his corner!

BC: This is definitely fair to Blair! Ha!

[The cell hits the ground with a thud, and the door is padlocked shut. The bell sounds, and the match begins.]

*DING DING DING*

TT: Here we go, there’s no turning back now!

[The camera pans through the crowd and zooms in on one particular fan – none other than famed actor, Tony Danza!]

TT: Hey, Tony Danza is here!

BC: How fitting, because Blair is about to teach Xamin “Who’s the Boss”! Ha!

TT: {groans} Remember how we talked about keeping some things to ourselves?

[Back in the ring, Xamin is cautiously circling Blair as Blair grins at him arrogantly. Xamin looks down at Triple X who is laughing at him. Suddenly, Xamin explodes at Blair with a series of high kicks and vicious punches, catching Blair off guard and sending him staggering back into the corner. Xamin continues to unleash with a whirlwind of kicks and punches, and he ends the assault with a strong haymaker right to Blair jaw, sending Blair crashing to his seat in the corner of the ring.]

BC: Ahhhh! He looked like the Tasmanian devil! Ahhh!

TT: It looks like Xamin has been preparing for this one! And Blair is completely caught off guard here!

[Xamin stomps Blair relentlessly in the chest, and Blair desperately looks for a way to escape but no avail. Finally, Triple X springs into action and gets up on the apron taunting Xamin. Xamin is distracted and this allows Blair to sneak up behind him and deliver a vicious low blow! Xamin slumps to the mat and his face turns red as he convulses. Blair looks up at Triple X and smiles. X takes his spot back in Blair’s corner with a warning from the official. Maniac wanders over to the opposite end of the ring and stares a hole through Triple X, who retreats around the corner. The referee orders Maniac back to his corner.]

TT: It took Triple X less than two minutes to get involved in this one, for God’s sake…can’t Blair beat Xamin on his own? Xamin is NOT a wrestler for crying out loud!

BC: Oh shut up, you geek! There’s too much on the line to take any chances.

[Blair mounts Xamin and delivers stiff right hands to his forehead. Xamin tries to cover up but Blair begins to use both fists and starts laying into him. Xamin is able to twist his hips and throw Blair slightly off balance, which buys enough time for Xamin to slip out of Blair’s grasp and he retreats into his corner. Blair grins at him sadistically.]

TT: Well the boss looks to be relying on his speed here, but sooner or later you’ve got to believe that fatigue will set in…Xamin isn’t a trained athlete.

BC: And Blair is just biding his time like any true veteran would!

[Maniac pats Xamin on the shoulders from the outside, and gives him a little pep talk. Xamin stands up and looks across the ring with renewed vigour. He charges at Blair…Blair sidesteps him and shoves him chest first into the corner. Xamin’s gasp can be heard throughout the arena as the air is driven out of his lungs by an exposed turnbuckle.]

TT: Hey! Who took the padding off that turnbuckle?!

[The camera zooms in on Triple X’s face – he’s whistling innocently, only the guilty kind of innocent.]

TT: Triple X again? For God’s sake, give Xamin a damn chance!

BC: Blair picked the best corner man possible, Teddy! Who else could pull this off? Certainly not Z-Pac…that freak would have his mind set on something else and wouldn’t do what he was told, you know the deal with him!

TT: I guess you have a point…Triple X is as dirty as they come, and that’s no pun on his name, folks…he does whatever it takes to win, we’ve seen that from him over the years.

[Xamin again slumps to the mat as Blair shrugs his shoulders as if he has no idea what happened. He pulls Xamin up, slams him back down with a bodyslam, and drives the point of his elbow into Xamin’s chest. Xamin is gasping for breath. Blair pulls him back up and whips him to the ropes…he drops to his stomach and Xamin leaps over him…on the rebound, wait…no, Triple X pulls the top rope down and Xamin flips up and over and to the outside!]

TT: Come on ref, put a stop to this!

BC: He can’t, there are no rules! Ha!

[As if out of nowhere, Maniac appears behind Triple X! He spins him around and wraps a steel chair around his head! Triple X bounces off the floor and lies flat on his back, motionless. Blair dives through the ropes at Maniac and they both crash into the side of the cell, the sound of steel on flesh echoing throughout the stadium.]

TT: All hell has broken loose already! Maniac has laid out Triple X and now Blair and Maniac are going at it tooth and nail! Xamin is hurt on the outside!

BC: Get him, Blair! Ha!

[Blair gets the upper hand, perhaps as a result of Maniac’s previously suffered injuries, and whips him into the ring steps. The steps bounce half way across the cell from the impact, and Maniac grasps his shoulder in pain, his face buried in the floor in agony. Blair picks up a steel chair and repeatedly beats Maniac with it, smashing it into every part of him that he can connect with. Maniac is in a bad way as Blair rips off his bandages, reopening the wound from earlier in the night. He pulls Maniac up and grates his face across the chain link, smearing blood all over the side of the cell. Maniac drops to his knees and only the cell wall prevents him from falling flat on his face. Blair grabs another chair and SLAMS it into the back of Maniac’s head, sandwiching him between the chair and the cell. Maniac drops to his side, unconscious and a bloody mess.]

TT: My God! What a horrific assault! Maniac is injured badly! And Xamin is now on his own!

BC: This is so fair to Blair! This is the fairest it’s ever been to Blair! I love it!

TT: Fair to Blair?! He just damn near decapitated a wrestling icon all for the glorification of his own ego!

BC: I know! Great isn’t it?!

TT: This is absolutely despicable!

[Suddenly, Mark Xamin arrives on the scene with a chair shot to Blair’s back! Blair staggers forward and Maniac again smacks the chair against Blair’s back, sending Blair to all fours, scurrying around the outside of the ring. Xamin chases after him and swings wildly with the chair, connecting with Blair’s right shoulder and sending him rolling around in pain. As Xamin turns around to pick up a head of steam and charge in at Blair, out from nowhere Triple X superkicks him! The kick hits the chair and the impact sends it smashing into Xamin’s face, busting him wide open and laying him out. Triple X poses over Mark Xamin’s unconscious body and the crowd begins to get angry, violently booing the Hall of Famer.]

TT: For God’s sake, every time things start to go Xamin’s way, Triple X gets involved and turns the tide! This is unfair!

BC: This is a masterful plan by GPW! Ha! First they set Maniac up and took him out of the equation in that Jericho vs Yen match, and now Xamin is a sitting duck in the ring with Paul Blair and Triple X! This is great!

TT: This is a damn crime is what it is!

[Blair gets to his feet and smiles at Triple X. EMTs rush down to the ring and demand the cell be unlocked to they can come to Maniac’s aid. The door swings open and EMTs flood inside, tending to a bloodied and unconscious Maniac. Blair pulls Xamin up and throws him into the side of the cell, sending him bouncing back into Blair’s arms…Blair then powerslams him on the concrete floor! Triple X points to the open door, and Blair immediately drags Xamin outside the cell, much to the chagrin of the official. Triple X follows him outside and locks the door behind him!]

TT: Hey wait a damn minute! Maniac and the EMTs are locked inside that cell and there’s no one to come to Xamin’s rescue! Damnit this is sick!

BC: More brilliance! I’m in awe of these two men! Blair and Triple X on their own are evil geniuses in their own right, but together they’re the most brilliant minds on the planet! And imagine what they’ll come up with when you throw Jeff Jericho into the mix! The CWF can’t possibly combat GPW!

[Blair begins to climb the cell! Triple X continues to beat down Xamin as he does, and once Blair gets to the top, he looks down and signals to Triple X. X puts Xamin on his shoulders and is able to climb half way up the cage. Blair reaches down and grabs Xamin by the hair and pulls him up to the top of the cell with him!]

TT: Oh dear God, this can’t be happening! Paul Blair is taking this entirely too far!

BC: What a crippling blow it would be to the CWF if the GPW destroyed both Maniac and Mark Xamin in one night! Ha!

[Blair slams Xamin down on the roof of the cell with a face slam, and makes his way over to the edge. He drags a defenceless Mark Xamin over with him and dangles him over the edge of the cell! Xamin pleads with him not to do it. Blair looks to the crowd and they boo loudly. He grins at them and gives Xamin the thumbs down. Xamin gulps and turns pale as Blair throws him hard off the top of the cell, and he goes crashing through the Spanish announce table!]

TT: MY GOD! MY GOD! GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY XAMIN IS DEAD! HE HAS TO BE DEAD DAMNIT!

BC: Ahhhhh! I can’t believe he did that!

[The crowd is going absolutely crazy as Blair stares down at Xamin’s crumpled body and a table that just absolutely exploded underneath him. A smile crosses his face as he smears some of Xamin’s blood on his hands across his chest. Triple X is jumping up in down in disbelief of what Blair actually went through with.]

TT: This is too much…this has gone absolutely way too far! My God, this has turned into a matter of life and death! Mark Xamin, the owner of the damn company and the man who created the CWF, is lying motionless is a broken, mangled mess! And Triple X can’t believe Blair actually did it!

[The EMTs locked inside the cell are desperately trying to get out so they can help Xamin, but to no avail. Maniac, who is tied down to a stretcher but now semi-conscious, wriggles weakly in the stretcher but doesn’t have to strength left to break himself free. Blair looks down on them all from the roof of the cell and taunts them and Triple X motions for him to come down.]

TT: This is heinous! The EMTs can’t even get out of the cell because Triple X has locked them inside! And Blair is beginning to descend here….

BC: Pin him, Blair! You’re about to become a CWF Hall of Famer!

TT: How in hell can you think of something so damn trivial at a time like this?! Xamin has a family, damnit!

BC: He knew what he was getting into, Teddy! Shut up and start taking notes!

[Blair climbs down the cell carefully. He walks over to where Xamin is lying and looks down on him, and then shields his eyes as if he can’t look at the carnage. He signals for Triple X, who has stolen the key to the padlock from the referee, to open to cell. He does, and the EMTs pile out and rush over to Xamin. Blair begins to take swings at them, sending them all away!]

TT: That sick son of a bitch won’t let Xamin get the medical attention he needs! His life is at stake here, damnit!

[Blair drags Xamin’s lifeless body back into the cell and once Triple X and the referee are inside as well, Triple X again locks the door behind him. He helps Blair roll Xamin back into the ring. Blair makes a cover!]

FOOT ON THE ROPES!!

[The crowd erupts! Blair looks at the referee, and then Triple X, in complete and utter disbelief!]

BC: AHHHHH!

TT: XAMIN GOT A FOOT ON THE ROPES! OH MY GOD HOW IS HE STILL ALIVE?!

[Blair looks down at Xamin. Xamin looks up at him through a crimson mask and very distant eyes, and flips him the bird!]

TT: My God almighty, Xamin will not die! His love for this company runs so deep that he won’t allow Blair into the Hall of Fame!

BC: Do something, Blair! Come on! Finish him quick!

[Triple X tosses a chair into the ring. Blair pulls a completely defenceless Mark Xamin into the corner of the ring and hooks both arms on the top rope, standing him up. Xamin has no legs, and his head hangs as he is held up by Triple X. The blood pours out of his head and down his chest. Triple X holds the steel chair up by Xamin’s face and nods at Blair.]

TT: Dear God, what now?! Have some damn compassion!

BC: He’s gonna Blairkick him to hell!

[Blair backs up, and then explodes forward, stepping into Xamin and absolutely unleashing the most powerful Blairkick he can muster…the steel chair dents in the shape of Xamin’s head on impact, and he immediately drops, motionless. Maniac, watching helplessly from the stretcher, still can’t wriggle free. He is covered in blood on his entire front side.]

TT: This is sick…this is absolutely sick, I can’t watch this…

BC: I can! Ha! Blair covers him!

*DING DING DING*

Announcer: Here is your winner… “THE RULER” PAUL BLAIR!

TT: Yeah way to go, you’re a real big man, Blair…

BC: Ahem…that’s Mr. Number One Contender Hall of Famer Paul Blair to you, you little twit!

TT: Paul Blair, in the span of forty five minutes, has become the number one contender, has destroyed Maniac, and has absolutely damn near killed the owner of the company, Mark Xamin…I’m amazed Xamin is even still alive! Paul Blair is a damn coward…

BC: Oh shut up, Teddy…he defied the odds tonight and…

TT: …defied the odds?! Defied what odds?!

BC: …just shut up! This was fair to Blair!

TT: I can absolutely not believe the guts shown by Mark Xamin…getting a foot on the ropes after being tossed of the top of the cell…

BC: Guts? That wasn’t guts, that was pure stupidity!

[Blair and Triple X celebrate in the ring, and the cell mercifully begins to raise as EMTs swarm the ring. Maniac is carted off on the stretcher, and Xamin is worked on extensively before being rolled onto a stretcher, neck brace, oxygen mask, and all, and rolled out of the arena to a standing ovation.]

TT: I…I don’t even know what to say. Words cannot possibly begin to describe what we just saw here…that was absolutely sick.

BC: Shut up, you ingrate! Blair did what he had to do, and he won the match! You wouldn’t be complaining if it was Blair being thrown off that cell…

TT: Paul Blair is a wrestler, damnit! Mark Xamin is a business man! He’s no more a wrestler than I am, or the guy in the front row! This was a clear attempt to wipe Mark Xamin and Maniac out of the picture, and GPW has snuffed out the CWF’s brain trust!

BC: Blah blah blah, the CWF is dead! You better start kissing Jeff Jericho’s ass if you want to keep your job!

TT: I strongly doubt the CWF is dead, you idiot…but regardless, the show must go on…

CWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
“The Only Star” Eric Dane vs “The Black Jesus” Tyrone Walker

BC: It’s time to crown a new CWF World Heavyweight champion! The winner of this match will keep the belt nice and shiny for Paul Blair, and then…

TT: Would you be serious? This match is the story of Team Danger, one of the most dominant forces in professional wrestling outside of the CWF. They’ve been together for over five years! But the CWF World Heavyweight title has driven a wedge between them, and it was announced earlier this week on Team Danger’s website that they have, in fact, split up!

BC: And this is the first time Eric Dane and Tyrone Walker have fought each other one on one…this is a new experience for the both of them, and with the title on the line, who knows what they’ll do to each other!

TT: Well we can only hope it isn’t as gruesome as the match we just saw.

BC: Oh get over it already, it was a glorious victory.

TT: {sighing} Let’s just head to the ring…

[We cut to the ring.]

Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the CWF World Heavyweight championship!

[The crowd erupts.]

TT: And both combatants went through a gruelling tournament to get here, what a finale this should be!

Announcer: Introducing first…from Detroit, Michigan…weighing in at 230 pounds… “THE BLACK JESUS” TYRONE WALKER!

[“Believe” by Breaking Benjamin hits, and the crowd explodes into a smattering of boos as Tyrone Walker steps out from the back, his afro swaying in the breeze as he struts down the aisle. He is clad in black and gold pleather tights, black amateur wrestling boots, and his fists are wrapped in black tape. He also wears a blank white baseball jersey with “Black Jesus” written on the back. The fans jeer him as he walks the aisle and climbs into the ring – he appears unphased by their taunts.]

TT: Walker looks very focused tonight…

BC: He better be…Eric Dane is about to give him the fight of his life!

Announcer: And his opponent…from New Orleans, Louisiana…weighing in at 245 pounds… “THE ONLY STAR” ERIC DANE!

[“The One You Love to Hate” by Rob Halford hits, and the crowd begins to throw garbage at the stage as Eric Dane steps out, dressed in white tights with red stars covering them, and black boots. His wrists are taped, and his long, honey brown hair flows as he walks down the aisle purposefully. When he gets to the ring area, he looks up from the floor at Tyrone Walker. The two lock eyes and the strain on their faces clearly indicates that the break up of Team Danger has been a painful one. Dane climbs the steps and enters the ring.]

TT: These two have been like brothers over the years…this has got to be painful for both of them…mourning the loss of their friendship, and having to pound the hell out of each other at the wake…

BC: All for the prestige of calling yourself the CWF World Heavyweight champion…it doesn’t get any bigger than that in this business, believe me.

*DING DING DING*

TT: Well here we go, the 2005 Summer Smash main event is under way!

[Dane is the first to step into the center of the ring. Walker looks across at him, his former best friend, and for tonight, his mortal enemy. Walker steps towards his and the two go nose to nose, staring into each others eyes and into the depths of each other’s souls. Dane looks at the crowd, which is in an absolute frenzy at seeing these two about to come to blows. Dane looks up at Walker, clenches his jaw, and slaps him across the face!]

TT: Ohhh…Dane just slapped the taste right out of Tyrone Walker’s mouth, and if that doesn’t set the tone for this match I don’t know what will…

BC: Walker didn’t like that…

[Walker freezes, his cheek turned away from Dane, and rubs his face, looking down at his hand when he finishes. He quickly turns his head and again goes nose to nose with Dane. Dane slaps him again! Walker again turns his cheek and rubs his face, this time his eyes are wider and the anger in them is obvious. He hauls off and punches Dane in the face! The crowd goes wild as Walker pounds him back into a corner and ruthlessly beats him down to his seat! Dane quickly slips under the bottom rope and staggers around the ring to regroup…but Walker dives through the ropes after him and tackles him to the ground!]

TT: The ring couldn’t contain these two for long and this fight has spilled to the outside!

[Walker pulls him up and shoves him into the ring apron, the small of Dane’s back driving into the edge of the ring. Dane arches his back in pain, but as Walker comes in for a body splash, Dane side steps him and Walker’s sternum crushes up against the apron! Dane grabs him by the afro and slams him back into the guardrail, which is also acting as one half of the set up with the makeshift pool surrounding the ring in it. Dane comes charging in looking to connect with a clothesline, but Walker ducks and back body drops him into the pool! The crowd erupts as Dane emerges from under the water absolutely soaked!]

BC: Ha! Water fight!

TT: I guess Walker thought Dane needed a bath, and Dane is livid!

[Dane slams his fist into the water in frustration. Walker slides back into the ring as Dane sidetracks himself with trying to get out of the pool. Walker springboards off the top rope and flies across the ringside area, and connects with Dane in the pool with a flying cross body! The crowd goes absolutely crazy!]

TT: MY GOD! WALKER FLEW THOUGH THE AIR AND LANDED IN THE POOL WITH DANE!

BC: Ahhh! I’ve never seen anything like that before!

[Walker and Dane thrash around in the pool, each trying to fight off the other one from holding his head under the water. They exchange blows, water splashing everywhere. Dane gets the upper hand and lifts Walker up for a gorilla press, water spilling all over the place as he does, and tosses him back over the guardrail and onto the floor! Dane then climbs out of the pool and perches on top of the guard rail…as Walker gets to his feet, Dane leaps off and connects with a missile drop kick! Walker is sent sprawling, sliding across the wet mats all the way to the opposite end of the ring upon impact!]

TT: This has become a bit of a hazard now…someone could twist their ankle on that wet floor…

BC: This is professional wrestling, smart guy…everywhere you look there’s a hazard!

[Dane gets to his feet, the water dripping off of him as he slides back into the ring. The referee is apparently going to let this one fly and didn’t even bother to count them out. Walker slowly gets to his feet on the outside and uses the ring apron to pull himself up. He slides under the bottom rope and back into the ring….Dane immediately pounces on his before he can get up, and Walker is stomped relentlessly until he stays down and tries to cover up. Dane then pulls him up, now in control of the match, and whips him to the ropes…he leapfrogs over Walker on the rebound, drops to his back, and flips Walker using his feet, sending him crashing to the mat! Dane kicks himself back up and stays on Walker, laying the boots to him a few more times before pulling him back up and shoving him into the corner. He rears back and slaps Walker across the chest with a reverse knife edged chop. Walker leans forward and tries to cover his chest, but Dane pulls his arms away and chops him again.]

Crowd: Woooo!

[Walker’s chest turns beat red, and Dane whips him to the opposite corner and charges at him as soon as Walker hits the turnbuckle, connecting with a flying body splash! Walker staggers out of the corner and drops to one knee…Dane dropkicks him in the head from behind and sends him completely down! Walker tries to pull himself to the ropes with his arms, but Dane grabs his leg and rolls him over…he kicks Walker on the inside of the knee several times, and then spins his arm in the air for the crowd, before locking in a figure four leglock!]

TT: Figure four! Figure four! Dane has it locked in and this could change the match entirely, taking away Walker’s legs!

BC: That’s what it’s all about, Teddy! Dane knows Walker isn’t going to give up in a match like this…this is all about wearing him down.

[Dane begins to bounce up and down off the mat, adding pressure to the hold. Walker sits up to attempt to relieve the pressure, but Dane slaps him across the face when he does! Walker blocks out the pain and musters up all the energy he can to reverse it! The crowd seems to be getting behind Walker…he feeds off their energy and manages to reverse the hold! Dane shakes his head wildly, his hair flying every which way as he does…but the hold doesn’t stay locked in for long, as all the movement, loosened Walker’s grip. Both men crawl towards the ropes on opposite ends of the ring and limp to their feet!]

TT: What a match this is!

BC: These guys know each other so well, it’s like they know what their thinking!

TT: The crowd seems to be getting behind Tyrone Walker here, which I can’t say I’m surprised by given Dane’s constant slapping Walker in the face…how disrespectful, after the things these men have accomplished together…

[They limp towards each other in the center of the ring and begin to exchange blows! Both men are showing fatigue, each punch sucking energy from them. Walker delivers a big right hand…Dane slumps to his side and comes back with a right of his own! Walker swings another right hand that connects! Dane swings back and connects as well! Both men drop to their knees and continue to exchange blows! They pick up speed, until finally their arms become a blur, absolutely pounding the hell out of each other!]

TT: They’re going at it tooth and nail!

BC: What a fight!

[Dane gets the upper hand and slowly gets to his feet…with Walker still on his knees, Dane drives his knee into Walker’s face, sending Walker dramatically back to the mat. Dane flops on top of him and hooks the leg for a cover!]

[Dane complains about a slow count, but goes back to work on Walker, pulling him up and backing him into the corner. He drives his shoulder into Walker’s abdomen, and as Walker slumps over in pain, Dane, picks him up on his shoulders and deposits him on the top turnbuckle. Dane sets him up for a superplex from the top! But Walker hooks his leg on the top rope and counters…he sends Dane off the top rope with a front face slam! Dane’s face bounces off the mat and he instinctively bounces back to his face…Walker sails off the top rope with a high cross body, but as they land, Dane flips over top of him and makes another cover!]

Walker pulls him back up and boots him in the gut…he lifts him up and…BROKEN ARROW!]

He boots Walker in the gut and hooks him in for a DDT, but Walker pulls himself back upright, pulling Dane onto his shoulders in a torture rack position, and then quickly drops him down into a piledriver to connect with the Everlasting Godstopper!]

BC: OH MY GOD WHAT A MOVE!

TT: THE EVERLASTING GODSTOPPER! IF WALKER CAN MAKE A COVER IT’S OVER!

[Walker can’t seem to capitalize…he lies motionless, right next to Dane, who is out cold. Walker slowly begins to realize what just happened, and he drapes his arm across Dane’s chest!]

Announcer: Here is your winner…and NEW CWF World Heavyweight Champion…. “THE BLACK JESUS” TYRONE WALKER!

TT: WALKER DID IT! WALKER IS THE CHAMPION OF THE WORLD!

[The crowd erupts! Walker and Dane are both emotionally and physically drained, and both are motionless in the ring. The referee drapes the title across Walker’s chest and points to him to indicate the victory.]

[“Believe” by Breaking Benjamin plays throughout the arena and confetti falls from above the ring, the wind blowing it into the crowd. The fans are going wild in a show of respect for Walker’s incredible effort.]

[But suddenly, the celebration is cut short.]

TT: Wait just a damn minute!

BC: Ha! It’s Paul Blair!

[The BlairVision Theme cuts off Walker’s theme song, and Paul Blair makes his way down the aisle with a microphone in hand. His chest is still stained with Mark Xamin’s blood. He climbs into the ring and looks down at Dane and Walker. He pulls Dane up by his hair and dumps him over the top rope!]

BC: Ha! Blair is taking out the trash!

TT: What the hell is the meaning of this?!

[Blair turns around and looks at Walker, who has backed into the corner and is sitting against the turnbuckles looking up at Blair with a fury in his eyes, the CWF World Heavyweight title clasped in his arms and held tightly against his chest. Blair stares at him as he speaks.]

PAUL BLAIR: I hate to rain on your parade, Tyrone…I really do. But you see, this is how it’s gonna be. Earlier tonight…you know, right before I sent Maniac and Mark Xamin to the intensive care unit…I won myself a number one contenders match! And the contract says, I can have my title match any old time I want…

TT: Oh you’ve got to be kidding me…

PAUL BLAIR: Well…I want it right here, right now!

[The crowd boos wildly, throwing garbage into the ring, aimed at Blair.]

PAUL BLAIR: And ain’t life a bitch, because Mark Xamin and Maniac are both holed up in a hospital in this hell hole of a city, meaning Jeff Jericho is the supreme authority in this building…and he agrees with me, I have every right to this match tonight! So time keeper, ring the god damn bell, and you, you white trash referee…get your ass back here!

CWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
“The Black Jesus” Tyrone Walker (c) vs “The Ruler” Paul Blair

TT: You can’t be serious!? Tyrone Walker was just in a gruelling match with his former best friend, he’s emotionally and physically drained! And Blair is getting a damn title match right now?! Walker hasn’t even been the champion for two minutes!

BC: Haha! This is great! Another brilliant scheme by Blair and Jericho!

*DING DING DING*

[Blair hovers over Walker, who looks on in disbelief that the match is actually happening. Blair pulls him out of the corner, but Walker fights back, catching Blair by surprise and unloading on him with a flurry of right hands! Blair stumbles back and loses his balance, and as he gets to his feet, Walker rips into him with a clothesline that sends Blair 360 degrees into the air! He retreats to the ropes and pulls himself up…Walker whips him to the ropes…spinebuster! Blair bounces off the mat and rolls around the ring in pain! Suddenly, out from the back walks Jeff Jericho! The crowd immediately showers him with a chorus of boos….]

TT: Jeff Jericho! What the hell business does he have down here?!

BC: If Blair wins, the CWF World Heavyweight title is in the hands of GPW! That’s his business down here!

[Jericho circles the ring into Blair’s corner. Walker sees him and leans over the top rope pointing at him, warning him to stay out of the match. As he turns around, Blair nails him with a BLAIRKICK!]

BC: YES! BLAIRKICK! It’s all over now!

TT: TRIPLE X! DAMNIT, WHAT’S HE DOING OUT HERE?!

[Walker gets to his feet and gets low blowed by Blair…and as he turns around, Triple X SUPERKICKS him right on the chin! Walker goes down like a ton of bricks and the fans begin to chant “bullshit”….X gets out of the ring and joins Jericho on the outside…the ref turns around and Blair makes a cover!]

Announcer: Here is your winner, and NEW CWF World Heavyweight Champion…. “THE RULER” PAUL BLAIR!

BC: YES YES YES YES YES!

TT: Paul Blair and the GPW has absolutely screwed Tyrone Walker! Walker should be the damn champion! This is absolutely unprecedented!

BC: This is fair to Blair! Blair is the champion! Blair is the king of the world, wooooooooooo!

TT: Tyrone Walker got screwed damnit!

[Jeff Jericho and Triple X lift Blair onto their shoulders and he holds up the title as if he’s just been through the match of his life. Chemical X races out to join in on the celebration, and Bobby Crane leaves the broadcast booth to join in as well.]

TT: This is an absolute bloody crime! The GPW has taken over Summer Smash and stolen the CWF World Heavyweight title from the rightful champion, Tyrone Walker!

[Blair, Jericho, Triple X, Chemical X, and “Beautiful” Bobby Crane all pose with the title in the ring, and the fans pelt them with debris.]

TT: Damnit, we’re out of time! This is a damn shame! We’ll see you next Sunday night for Brawl! Damnit!

[Blair jumps up and down with the title as Tyrone Walker looks up from the mat in sheer rage.]

[Fade to black.]

[Thank you for ordering CWF Summer Smash 2005. We hope you enjoyed the show.]
